i can’t relate to your concerns because in my culture it’s still very common for people to marry with a large age gap (even though me and people around me don’t) so I don’t want to dispute you. but if you are open to another pov, honestly i don’t think that it’s that big of a deal. so if we can agree to disagree, and with freedom of speech, i just think that as long as it’s consensual it’s fine. i agree grooming is wrong. but nobody is grooming anybody here. not in the story, not in real life. in the story they were “forced by the emperor” to marry. in real life they’re just working professionals. both have been in the industry for a long time. sometimes things are not black and white, and we have to see the context before judging. so if a minor is paired with a much older guy who has a bad rep, then it’s dubious. but if not, just let them live their lives. hey, as long as they’re happy. i mean a lot of my friends who have a small age gap have been divorcing lately. some dv, some because of disagreements in lifestyle. i know some people who have a large age gap and they have a stable marriage. so i think as long as it’s not abusive it’s okay. let them live their lives

not everyone appreciates physical touch as a love language. sometimes it’s gestures/acts of service or gifts/allowances or just verbal assurances. i used to think that movies need physical touch to convey emotions because it’s a visual media but turns out something like FoF can happen and you can see their bond and trust no problem without any kissing scenes. I think it elevates it and makes it more elegant. that their love is not primal/infatuation but a love that is them choosing to love their partners in a more wholesome way.

despite what happened, i was so touched to see casual fans of the drama were asking questions on how to help boost the popularity of the drama because they loved it so much! and it was soo touching to see it hit 10k and all the other performance ratings. it was sidelined by the higher ups but embraced and beloved by the masses

at first I was concerned about him too, but I think he’s enjoying it. and I see that he’s trying to prioritize his health too, telling kiwis to not worry, that he’s okay. he’s an extrovert that also gets recharged when he meets his fans, you can see how happy he is on stage and during fan meets and when he receives fan letters. i understand that he also had his concerns/trauma during that period where he had no job for 8 months, so right now he’s doing the best he can for his career (and for our enjoyment too! we’re also sad if there’s nothing to watch, right). next year i think he’s getting that balance where he will go on concerts and more music festivals as well. i’m hoping he gets more variety shows too!
