I’m touched that they all protected him like that. they did provide him with some suggestions and input and wasn’t particularly harsh with him, but what was moving is that they all appreciated his expression of the song and had high hopes for him in the future🙏🏻✨

fr i still cannot sleep, even though i know he left gracefully. i’m still on rednote and weibo checking what people are saying and waiting for his off work video

i was distraught when i saw the video before his performance. it was all foreshadowing. then when i heard him sing, i was already sad. i still had that glimmer of longing for the audience to vote for him. so many people didn’t want to see him go.

yes i waited so long for the encore performance but i think international mango didn’t provide it, i got kicked out of the livestream; i had to lurk in rednote and wait for people to upload it 😭 man leng is such a perfect song for our current mood… so many audience members cheered for him

did you see his encore performance? he was comforting us. I’m sad it had to end this way too, but I think he left respectedly; guiling/reset is a very very hard song. there was this quote, “there is no failure, it’s either success or a learning experience”. I’m sure Singer HMH will be better and better. this Variety show will be his launching pad into better music opportunities for him. i hope more music producers will want to work with him in the future. for now, let’s welcome back actor HMH, we’ll be able to see his going to & off work and reuters video again for now. and i can’t wait for his single and kttph!!

So after digging around, I found out that last week he was the number 1 most anticipated singer on the online poll, with about 600k++ voting for him. That granted him the right to sing an encore song, "Yu Tian" / Rainy Day.

I just haven't been able to find this week's poll stats. I even tried the Mangotv Chinese web page; maybe it's on the mobile version?? I wonder if anyone knows whether he will be performing another Encore tonight?

Normally, as long as Brands don't secure an exclusivity agreement, an artist is free to receive other Ambassadorships of the same category. For example he currently has 3 skincare endorsements; one for sunscreen (Meifubao), one for moisturizer (Biorrer), and Sheet Masks (C-Ka); so probably each company has exclusive agreements for each corresponding product category but not the full skincare category (which would be more expensive).

I've finished reading the novel, it's not demonic, he's going to be an Immortal/Daoist, his makeup was clean, i think it was just the dark lighting. And no way he'll be the SML. The ML's character archetype should be something that suits him (since he's so versatile anyway, i'm sure he'll nail it). I think it's because he has that helpless innocent goody two shoes guy look that they insisted on having him onboard; it suits the character more. I'm guessing it should be more of a Romantic Comedy Idol drama style with a bit of Mystery & Jumpscares with all the monster snakes.
