i think romance is already there, just not in physical form or stated blatantly. there are many love languages, and “acts of service” is one of them. This one is more of that. Silently does stuff for each other. This is in a level that is more than friends, i mean, who would build a workshop for a friend? 😂 normally people would be like oh yes you can use my garage, and leave the procurement of goods themselves.. he went all the way and prepared everything for her!! haha

Yes 👍🏻 it’s okay to agree to disagree. Understandably people are being defensive because of the hate campaign aimed at the actors and the show.
HMH is a great actor!! He’s so experienced now too and it’s showing through everyone’s recognition of him. He also mentioned in an interview that both the ML and the FL is experiencing first “true love” (as i think they wanted to contrast it to the FL’s puppy love) so they’re navigating through it by making mistakes too.

In an interview for the fire scene (ep 1), he mentioned he did the close up shots first and was devastated to see his clean face on screen, so he reasoned with the directing team, saying that that scene may have been after days of fighting, and this is a pivotal scene to portray the harsh reality of warfare. The directing team agreed, he then washed off his makeup, proceeded to put soot, mud and blood on his face with the help of the makeup team.
His professionalism and dedication to his roles had always helped in shaping his characters.

I agree the ML is the shining point of this drama. To be fair, she did and said some good things too. She also helped the ML regain some optimism, humanity and his reputation; clearing out misunderstandings. By this time, she has also changed a bit, she's not as naive as she was in the first episode, but she is still inexperienced. This drama is fast paced so if you choose to skip scenes then it will be difficult for you to understand the undercurrents. Well anyways, you are free to enjoy it any way you like
