The studio just posted the Nanjing concert vlog, and I'm telling y'all, he really shouldn't be filming a drama…
Tours are supposed to be like a full time thing. How physically demanding it is really depends on the person, and I know our HMH is a perfectionist and he performs all out for us! I think he should do 4-8 shows in a month, it makes more sense to do that like other normal tours. he cause clearly the demand is there… then go back to filming. But i have a feeling he’s changing the setlist each time he moves cities 😤🫠😭🥹 I mean we’re touched, but that’s a lot of work you know!
Sold out tickets again in seconds for Chengdu stop: https://m.weibo.cn/status/5310062782581272HMH posted on supertopic…
that bittersweet feeling seeing his post… happy for him that more people are supporting him now, but laughing at your own helplessness of not being able to watch his concert live 🥲🫠😂❤️🤭
Has the rumor of the new drama with Yu Shuxin been confirmed? Don't know what to feel about that if its true....…
Idk if it’s true or not… producers who are money-oriented doesn’t understand and try to typecast him into playing historical dramas and xianxias. but honestly I feel that he never fell into that hole; his roles never repeat and all his roles has different characteristics and mannerisms. he’s a great actor! trust in him! I’ve started to read the novel and I think they can fit the roles well. I’m still 17 chapters in and I don’t think it’s a good story so far; but I hope they rewrite it like what they did with LiTC and make it better.
There's no such thing as innate talent; it's all earned through hard work. He's excellent and hardworking. A man who spent over 330 days a year on set in 2025, with inhuman schedules, still memorizing lines until midnight after work. Even so, he still managed to squeeze in four years of vocal lessons with Teacher Guo. Hou Minghao deserves more love and support.
Hou Minghao is just like a male protagonist in a cultivation novel. He was born with dual spiritual roots, possessed exceptional talent, and was incredibly hardworking. He spent ten years in seclusion, cultivating and concealing his strength. Once he broke through, he immediately became the center of attention, and then he leveled up by defeating monsters along the way.
I was reading several posts on XHS and there were people who said they were first shocked at why an an actor is crossing over to be in singer. But HMH’s fans were patiently commenting about his history at SM, that he still continued practicing singing all these years and haven’t given up on his dream, still singing OSTs when he can. and these posts quietly became, “now that I know and seen his videos, I’m rooting for him!” “thank you to his fans for explaining patiently to me”
The number of reservations on Damai (platform) for his upcoming Chengdu Concert has reached 1 million! It has become increasingly difficult to get tickets for his show!! 😂❤️
With an idol so Sensible, so Sincere, so Hardworking like HMH, I hope we as kiwis can grow to be like him too! Such a positive energy ball! Our model worker HMH
I understand why it feels uncomfortable. I just don’t think depicting a fictional romance automatically equals…
Honestly, I’d like to believe there is still goodness in this world. I hope not all places are exploitative. Even will all that mess in Hollywood; Epstein, Diddy, etc, I understand why it’s difficult for US citizens to feel safe about minors working in the entertainment industry. But there are some child stars in USA that are safe too, like Zendaya, she grew up well and healthy. I’m not saying China is all that clean either, but hoping that the productions would put respect and consent first. There will be good and bad people everywhere; but Humanity is not a lost cause.
I really HATE the moral dilemma that this drama is creating with me. On the one hand HMH’s stunts look AMAZING.…
I understand why it feels uncomfortable. I just don’t think depicting a fictional romance automatically equals exploitation, especially if the production was conducted professionally and safely.
Acting is performance, not a real relationship. The question is whether the production protects the minor actor professionally and ethically, not whether the audience is endorsing adult-minor dating.
The legal consent age for different countries is different. 16-17, for some, can carry enough maturity, whilst some adults are in toxic relationships; no matter if they’re a minor or not is dangerous. The difference is whether they’re exploited/have agency/ have consent or not.
If it’s just for professional purposes, actors are trained to separate between work and life. The thing that gives me great confidence is that both Amy and HMH are highly educated individuals that come with principles and boundaries judging from their clean reputation by far.
Even though I can’t guarantee what happens in the future, but this is enough for me for now to enjoy watching this series. If it’s still uncomfortable for you, you can always not watch it until it airs and we’ll screen it first for you guys.
too late for that. it’s airing soon, just enjoy the ride, it’s just fiction at the end of the day; or just…
some c-dramas’ take on romance does not include visually intimate scenes, as in, sometime there aren’t even any kissing scenes. more on the feelings /chemsitry that develops over the characters’ development. the ML had a drama that had no kissing scene with his pair. but we’ll see after this airs. i think we’re just too used to seeing hollywood romance movies.
hoping more producers will cast him in a higher budget action movies/series after this, because that MV was FAIYAAAR 🔥 THE STUNTS, THE ACTING, THE SINGING!! Top notch!!
when he didn’t debut with NCT i was so sad. but i’m glad that he didn’t because, frankly, i think his career…
yes, he would’ve had more songs produced but now he has a more rich repertoire and became a very unique artist. He will have more creative libery to choose the type of songs he wants to sing too, as idols are generally more “manufactured” in a sense that other people usually just compose the songs for them. I think he now has a chance to co-write with producers.
A cross time duet of “ZheShiAi / This is Love” from the Nanjing concert and 9 years ago. He has always been a great singer. It took a long time but he finally was able to hold his own concert. Dreams really do come true.
