I’ve been reading reports on the hi6 programme! everyone seems to be laughing so much and left feeling super satisfied! I hope it gets edited properly! I’m so glad to hear that xiao hou and song song had so much fun too!! can’t waitttt

judging from the novel, I think we’ll be so satisfied to see all their interactions! even if they tweak the script I hope the chemistry is still the same with the book!

One thing I like about HMH is his interactions with fans is very respectful, old kiwis know to give him personal space, and he receives letters from them.. apparently this morning his fans were already lining up nicely but his ss fans and dps were crowding over him. but he still remembers to wave at his fans across the road.
The most unbelievable thing is that they ran to chase his car! 🤯😵🙄

they’ve apparently done makeup tests and script table readings.. but makeup is currently a heavily guarded secret, the building was covered by black tents and cloths so dp could not take any pictures of leaks

there were instances where some singers didn’t get any songs to sing so they sat backstage. even zhou shen wasn’t spared 😵 it really depends on luck and whether the song matches the singer

no, we don’t know for sure, but that’s just for one show. so the way this tv show works is you get to sing a song if either a) you get picked by the songwriter (sometimes you negotiate a group performance) or b) you are the first person to hit the buzzer for that song. so usually in 1 episode you get 2 chances to perform (max, unless you get picked for a different duet song)
he recorded 2 episodes so there may be 4 chances to perform.
if he is going to sing a duet with LYN then he still might get a chance to sing a solo song if he hits a buzzer or in the next episode. this piece of information was only for episode 9 i think. (the earlier stage show) but anyways that’s just me theorizing. we’ll only know for sure on the day (26th) from kiwi reports.. they’ve already acquired some tickets to attend the live recording. i can’t waitttt

i can’t relate to your concerns because in my culture it’s still very common for people to marry with a large age gap (even though me and people around me don’t) so I don’t want to dispute you. but if you are open to another pov, honestly i don’t think that it’s that big of a deal. so if we can agree to disagree, and with freedom of speech, i just think that as long as it’s consensual it’s fine. i agree grooming is wrong. but nobody is grooming anybody here. not in the story, not in real life. in the story they were “forced by the emperor” to marry. in real life they’re just working professionals. both have been in the industry for a long time. sometimes things are not black and white, and we have to see the context before judging. so if a minor is paired with a much older guy who has a bad rep, then it’s dubious. but if not, just let them live their lives. hey, as long as they’re happy. i mean a lot of my friends who have a small age gap have been divorcing lately. some dv, some because of disagreements in lifestyle. i know some people who have a large age gap and they have a stable marriage. so i think as long as it’s not abusive it’s okay. let them live their lives

not everyone appreciates physical touch as a love language. sometimes it’s gestures/acts of service or gifts/allowances or just verbal assurances. i used to think that movies need physical touch to convey emotions because it’s a visual media but turns out something like FoF can happen and you can see their bond and trust no problem without any kissing scenes. I think it elevates it and makes it more elegant. that their love is not primal/infatuation but a love that is them choosing to love their partners in a more wholesome way.

but i doubt they will have a livestream like yz.. i really cannot wait to see yang guniang 🫣❤️

during the music festival, lots of fans posted “hmh, your soldier is here” and idk about other artists but the venue was full of people carrying hmh’s support flag & banners

happiness is as simple as seeing a male fan post on xhs “hou minghao, your soldier is here” ♥️ lately i’ve been seeing more of these sort of posts.. so glad he’s getting mainstream, even couples are coming to his offline events

and everytime hmh’s drama hits, people are like, “why haven’t i discovered this gem sooner?” “why have the fans been hiding him”

despite what happened, i was so touched to see casual fans of the drama were asking questions on how to help boost the popularity of the drama because they loved it so much! and it was soo touching to see it hit 10k and all the other performance ratings. it was sidelined by the higher ups but embraced and beloved by the masses
