Me to myself: “I’ve learned my lesson this year. I will NOT hype any dramas until we are past the halfway mark because they tend to turn into 💩 during the second half.”
Me to myself 3 episodes in: “OMG this is 🔥!!! FL is smart and the actors are acting! Let me tell everyone I know about this drama!👏👏💯👌”
🥴🫣 let’s hope I don’t learn the hard way again. I’m hopeful.
this drama is so funny .... [not a comedy] , sick too . saeko belongs to the nuthouse [long ago] .... aiko needs…
Your comment is accurate and it made me laugh. Everything criminal is allowed to happen in this drama 😂. FL is not even 15 mentally, I think she’s 9yrs old at best. Her naivety is frustrating.
I'm glad I finished but the next few episodes, especially 24 and 25 were extremely difficult to get through.
I would drop or fast forward a lot but that depends on what you are in the mood for. I’m one of the people who enjoyed the first half a lot. At one point during the early episodes I wrote “I feel bad for the people who don’t know or will never know about this drama.” To then after the halfway mark, I couldn’t stand sanctimonious and “know it all” XiuXiu and the other questionable things. The historical events later were necessary to show imo.
The village life to me became uninteresting and yes, it became a chore to finish.
I think, maybe put on hold and revisit when you are in the mood.
Basically, this drama is full of clues about doubles, doppelgängers, hidden identities, and the power of art…
I’ll stick to your theories, my brain can work with them. You are right, I was approaching this literally and that cannot work with this type of dramas.
Either I overestimated my brain and intellectual’s capacities thinking I’d understand this or the writer tried too hard with the thriller and fantasy and as a result the evolution of the drama is nonsense . I have so many questions…
the director did some good works too, so I don't worry... I don't see the logic in it, some directors have 8 great…
“The Impossible Heir” was my first and only drama from that director so I can only base on that (which I believe is a normal thing to do). You can’t see the logic if you don’t ask more questions to the person making the comment. To see the logic you should have asked “why” I only named that drama. Then you would have seen the logic behind this comment. If you don’t ask, you won’t know and that’s with anything in life.
I hope they learned from “The Impossible Heir”… idk why Lee Jae Wook decided to work with this team again. I hope this drama turns out better for all of them and us.
Hated Wen Xiu.. specially in the last ep. iykyk Being a dumb girl isnt cute. idk why these shows keep makin it…
The comment I was looking for, I just couldn’t stand her. The last stupidity took me over the edge and it’s a good thing for the writers (I guess) that they kept it until the end cuz if this was early on, I would have dropped the drama. I was happy that he gave her the silent treatment and pissed when I saw him come back and her smiling at him. In my head, I’m going to assume that he dumped her.
