I hope they learned from “The Impossible Heir”… idk why Lee Jae Wook decided to work with this team again. I hope this drama turns out better for all of them and us.

The comment I was looking for, I just couldn’t stand her. The last stupidity took me over the edge and it’s a good thing for the writers (I guess) that they kept it until the end cuz if this was early on, I would have dropped the drama. I was happy that he gave her the silent treatment and pissed when I saw him come back and her smiling at him. In my head, I’m going to assume that he dumped her.

😂😂… I’ll probably skip this one, in the trailer it looked like they lifted a baby up in the air and threw him on the floor. The trailer looked violent, the type of dramas where all I have to say are profanities. I’ll pass lol.

I’m a daughter as well (first born) and I agree with you, there’s no way I would have forgiven that easily. To be fair, her easy forgiveness matches her weird and sudden personality change. First half XiuXiu was not second half XiuXiu. Second half was insufferable and acting like a saint. Not minding her business to the point of neglecting her child.
What really took me over the edge was the ridiculous way SuSu ended.

Idk what happened with the writer on the second half. She lost focus on what she wanted to talk about. Nothing wrong with focusing on major historical events but there was no smooth transition from village life to that. I think making the drama longer to transition is smoothly into to major events would have been better .
We didn’t need happy ending, just smoother transition. A lot was packed into the last few episodes and we (I) didn’t get emotionally invested as I did in the first half.

Apparently, in the book that Tietou is trash because he SA Tao (at least once) even though he was in love with Yinzi. Remember when Tao gave birth and Tietou’s mom said that “he looks like Tietou when he was a baby.”… 😑
I'm only in ep 1 but I want to share some of my thoughts.. I get the feeling the drama well done in various department…
The age not matching the face is, unfortunately, something you will see also towards the end of the show when they are all older. For the makeup, it really didn’t stand out too much for me so I didn’t pay attention.
The people who just started the drama are getting mad at the people who finished the drama because we are saying negative things about the drama… 🫠.
Relax, we were all into it at first. Heck, I was commenting daily on here talking about how much I loved this drama. If you haven’t watched until episode 26, you really can’t understand. For most of us, the problem is with the writing not the acting because all actors were great.
If you’ve watched from beginning to end and didn’t find an issue with it, great! If you are still early on, hold your comments about what we who ended the drama feel about it.
If you still don’t agree with a lot of us who finished it, at least avoid being vulgar and be respectful of others’ opinions. Dramas fall under art and art can be subjective.
I also suspect that ml is already in that world, he is everywhere.
You speaking up was to encourage the ones like me who feel like we can’t or shouldn’t.
It will come a time when we who see will question if what we are seeing is correct. We will clearly see the occult but since everyone else seems to be ok with it then maybe it’s not occult and next thing we know, we accept it. That’s what happened to me today, I felt uncomfortable watching some of the ep 1. I came to the comments and it was almost all positive and I started doubting until I saw yours that confirmed that I was indeed correct. I was encouraged to drop, really, I pray you are rewarded for you words today.
Our protection will be prayers and now more than ever, we cannot be lazy about that. We are fighting mystical and invisible forces.
It was very ritualistic and it’s training people to accept these types of practices. I haven’t seen any “that was gross”, we are talking about what seemed to be a pool of blood and people drinking blood. The occult is becoming normalized. We are entering a dangerous era. I feel like we are in the midst of WW3 and it’s not a physical one but a spiritual. “They are after our minds”.

Garbage dramas always have high ratings as long as the ml is “hot”.
