She has a reason to live. Her son. Some grieving is expected. What she did was give up on life and her son's life. That's not okay and there's no justification for it. If it was just her...whatever....but it's not.

I figured they had to change it from the novel b/c ain't no way a rebirth/revenge novel would have the reborn character take so many Ls without any wins.
They really coulda just stripped that aspect of the show out and just made it a straight political intrigue/romance story.
Splendid Match did that. It would have been better. She's accomplished nothing with this second life - folk still dead - she's still running for her life...just useless overall.

No. No it's not. Not with rebirth dramas. Revenge is the point. The protagonist is supposed to surgically take out her enemies and make them pay. Some obstacles are fine. But they are supposed to win.
