All of this. Because why did he just decide to destroy his brother's entire life b/c of a chick he just met and who he KNEW was using him. And like you said him and the girl had NO chemistry, NONE. He just seemed like a whiny brat. So the whole series was how many ways can the 2ML be made to suffer?

I also think what annoys me about this series is that it works better if she dies at the end and not the brother. Also you 2ML can't outshine the ML. It doesn't work, and has the viewer rooting for the other guy. Also it helps if the "Leads" have chemistry...having the best chemistry with the second guy is crazy work. And finally I'm just gonna assume it ends before that time jump. While not the best ending, it makes the most sense other than that extra mess.

This was TERRIBLE. I'm so glad I skipped through things when I realized it was totally gonna go left. What the heck????

Yes. That doesn't change anything I said tho. Politics should have started at the midway point...now it's rushed, tho they are integrating it well.

Previews for Ep. 31 are annoying me in the same way previews for Ep. 25 did.

I have LOTS of thoughts, but I'll wait 'till the episode airs. But I will say it does annoy me when writers add unnecessary drama to situations that are already dramatic enough.

Also, if ever a series needed a part 2 it is this one. They are gonna separate in 29 and again in 31 - Let's assume they are back together by 33. None of the political stuff has even begun to be fully addressed. So, I guess they are gonna speed run through all of that, unfortunately.

Is there a time jump???

I've seen some clips from that story line and I keep going....how many episodes???? Because she still has to go be with the other generals army to "earn merits" to be worthy of the marquis (in her mind). So that's another separation right there.

It's silly regardless. Coulda stuck with the book. Made everyone look bad/dumb/liars.

Guys it's okay to criticize a silly plot point. Not defending it doesn't mean you don't like the show. Sometimes plot points are just dumb. Doesn't mean the show is bad...just means you hope they course correct and do better with the remaining episodes.
