I know, but I never considered that sad. It was the correct ending. I've genuinely never really understood why folk would want or expect anything else.
I will hope for a sad ending its been way too long since a good sad ending.People should also grow up and stop…
No. You don't bill it as a romcom and give a sad ending. If it were a drama and had a sad ending that would be one thing. The genre matters here. People signed up for light and fun, not this.
If it’s gonna be a happy ending it might be like in the past, segye died but ended up being reincarnated in…
Yeah I think Seori becomes a *real* reincarnation in the last episode. Dies in the past saving Gran Prince reincarnates to reunite with the reincarnated Cha Seyge
I said last week (when Mundo kept winning) that there was likely to be a separation with these two in this episode b/c one hadn't happened yet and the writer seemed to want to mirror the misery of the past couple with the modern couple.
This is why Mundo kept winning. He won in the past. And the last thing left was for a separation (and possible death of the ML) BEFORE they could (potentially) "win" in the end.
So it seems like a time loop/fate thing, now. If you want a different future fate you have to correct the wrongs of the past? For the record this is not some shit you pull in the penultimate episode...but here we are. lol
I mean did him not die while he was exiled. Why does he need to be saved in the past so he could live in the present.…
The going back to Joeson made sense several episodes ago. I actually wrote a whole comment saying that's what I thought was gonna happen. The souls return to their original timelines and we get a Joeson story line and modern story line and there were several ways this could play out. But then they went and did the last two episodes so that seemed off the table...now...WTH????
Typical kdrama and their writers spoiling the ending. Why did he get stabbed? Shin Seo ri's grandma should stay…
I watched a c-drama where there was problem after problem - and FINALLY things get sorted in the last episodes AND THEN in the very LAST episode they have her guy go missing b/c he was going blind and he had to have surgery and didn't tell her and in the very VERY last minutes they are reunited and (thank god) he isn't blind for real...surgery worked. lol
And when I say last minutes...I mean last minutes. lol

So we got time loop, reincarnation and soul swapping.
Pick a lane writer. Pick a lane.
Like genuinely happy and not bitterswet.
And when I say last minutes...I mean last minutes. lol
This show is feeling like that.
And here we are.
