Imo they should have condensed the first 18 episodes into 10 instead of rushing from now on.
Yeah. So much still left to happen. Not enough episodes.

✨ drama ✨ 😂🤣💀this part was better in the novel imo. unfortunately with this kind of misunderstanding…
Agree.

I am worried about how they are gonna handle the next "divorce arc". There are not enough episodes left to drag that out for too many episodes.

They really could have just kept to the book and sent her down the mountain to get some salt. Other than making her and her crew look like a fool, and making her husband put on a huge show...which rightfully should come back and bite him in the rear...what was the point???

I keep saying this as well. Don't know how it played out in the book, but it is okay to change things up. I do feel like this has gone on too long and this last bit was a bit much.

Um...everyone (Pig Squad) should have realized something was up when the commoner asking for punishment seemed more in command than the "Lord" delivering punishment. lol

Just silly/stupid for no reason.

SMH.

On another note...we're running low on runway. This really should have been a 60 episode series (damn that rule) I'm worried they are gonna do that c-drama thing where the leads have like 3 episodes where there isn't lying, misunderstanding, drama or separation.

Sigh.

Why do I feel Mr. Jin/ Yuan Bao is starting to like Changyu too hahaha
Because that's exactly what's happening.

I'll politely skip the last half of 25th episode.... I'll continue from 26th episode....
That bad huh?

The ending of episode 25 though! Xie Zheng had such a commanding presence even as commoner Yan Zheng. The way…
The one thing this series does right is the quiet power of Yan Zheng/Xie Zheng. Because he has real power, as a commoner, even when people act like they are above him, he never reacts. He's always calm and collected, because regardless of who he is pretending to be, he is always who he is.

I’m glad they didn’t make her a Mary Sue. She isn’t some genius who happens to be a great fighter. She’s…
I used "dumb" to describe how her character is portrayed sometimes. Sometimes being the operative word. No, I was saying dumb wasn't too harsh to describe her at times b/c it was accurate. Her being an orphaned village girl doesn't mean she has to be "dumb." That's the complaint. Not that she's portrayed as dumb all the time.

Who said I hated her from the start? I never said that.

I disagree a bit. The simple country bumpkin way they occasionally write her is annoying and unnecessary.
I've pointed out multiple times that there is a difference between being naive and uneducated and being a dumb country bumpkin.

What??? What does that have to do with the topic at hand?

She also asked him if that is who he was/what he did. My point is she knows he's important and (unlike other things) seemed to understand his role in things. At the very least, it is someone who is high up and who she trusts. We'll see out it plays out.

No it's a country bumpkin flaw. Anyone capable of thinking a thought through can see it's a bad idea.
