For me, Cheng Yi is an embodiment of professionalism, harmony, kindness, humility, and craft mastery. His body of work speaks for itself 😊 He even inspires me so much work wise.

Cheng Yi's dramas have been introducing me to other awesome actors who work with him. He is like magnet for positivity. Now I have a healthy list of actors and actresses who I admire all because of Cheng Yi's cdramas 😊

I will never understand how some people can hate actors unreasonably. These actors/actresses are not fans possession. They are doing their crafts and we also have our own lives. Why can't we just respectfully appreciate?

I will always support Cheng Yi, his coworkers, screenwriters, production crews, and everyone involved who have moved our hearts so much through these awesome drama creations. Let's always spread positivity and respect.

They acted on orders, and if you see YFS fighting skill against Tiemo king in ep 27/28, they couldn't afford to let YFS realized even for a split second that he's being ambushed. So the surprise element was their upperhand.

(Though if it was really YFS, I would doubt if those guys could really defeat him or not)

Yep i have finished watching Vendetta of An 🙂 what a superb drama to end 2025 with. I have rated it also, first thing.

Yeah maybe the prisoner is XHA's brother or something. His body seems shorter than XHA, and what keeps bugging me is the curly hair.

Even though the pouch is identical with the one in ep 18. Let me replay that to see if there is any mention about the pouch being special or not lol.

If this guy is not XHA, then XHA did leave quietly like YZ and XWJ complained about. And this is happy ending enough for me 👀

But, it is also out of character for XHA to leave without saying a word just like that, unlike Li Lianhua lol. Oh my brain... 😵‍💫😵

I wish we had more closure than this, just a bit more. But i will take XHA is alive from either scenario above , and as long as he is alive he can outwit anyone and escape 💕

Yeah initially I thought the same, that couldn't be XHA. Because Cen Pickles seemed to act differently towards this guy, like more taunting. He wouldn't dare to act like that with XHA. Or is it because XHA is behind bars, Cen is not afraid anymore?

Then later on I thought about the prisoner's voice (sounds a lot like XHA's), the pouch of bitter after, the bottle (of toad oil?) , the mention of Mt. Shilouman, the ugly toads story, and forgetting the past. These seem to be things specific between Yan Fengshan and Xie Huai'an.

There is some theory in reddit that the one who captured XHA in the special episode is Yan Fenshang. Huben guards could have come back to kidnap XHA (YZ and XWJ thought he left on his own).

XHA told lady doctor Yi that there are rare toads in Mt Shilouman, and YFS and him are both recognizing each other as those toads. The bottle could be toad oil that is said can cure regret (which also could be a reference to 'burying the past').

As for the pouch of bitter after, it was last seen in ep 18 when YFS met XHA.
Yulong Ridge is also where YFS kept the cackle (Tiemo) king before.
So this theory seems quite plausible 🤔

Yep. Especially towards characters like Wangpu and Su Changlin. Now I'm gonna be having trust issues in real life if somebody is acting ultra nice, all smileys, and looking innocent 😅

Lol. Speaking of which... did we get a definite view of Su Changlin's death? I remember he was last seen injured but still alive in the river village (ep 25).

- Ye Zheng, Xiaoqing, XWJ, XWY, Cen Pickles, (possibly) Yan Fenshang, and.... Xie Huai'an

Oh man, here goes waiting for more comments about who the prisoned guy is. He sounds like XHA, but.. I also refused to believe that's him, at least not without further indications.

Who is the man instructing him to do things, and why the prisoner needs reconcilliation from him? Could the instructor be XHA instead? But why does the prisoner sound like XHA? And what's with the pouch?

In the special ep, the old guy wine seller says that YZ and XWJ carried XHA body out of the granary. And YZ and XWJ says XHA left. Meaning XHA is alive for sure. But then maybe got kidnapped and imprisoned?

You got me thinking. Perhaps XHA had already seen this coming (XWJ killing XWY) once he knew XWJ was captured by Tiemo king. Hopefully XHA had prepared some plan to counter this.

XHA's msg to XWY: be prey first, kill the hunter later. Maybe the word 'later' in XHA plan is really later on after the ambush in river village. Because XHA didn't know the debt collector would help XWY in the ambush, right? So maybe XHA already anticipated their loss during the ambush. And that their counter attack plan would come later.

I would have watched it even if the series just tell about Li Lianhua farming vegetables 🙈😆 maybe add some sprinkle of his old fox telltale lies as well.

Even though I'd be glad if it wasn't the real XWY who got stabbed, it would be as depressing if it was the real Zhang Mo 😭

I do remember XHA saying to Zhiying that the only way (to defeat Tiemo) is that XWY must die...

Really can't predict where the plot is going. Cant wait for express episodes.

Same. I used fast forward once when I felt like something bad was about to happen to Ye Zheng 😭 but other than that I never did. I rewinded several times instead.
