I'm trying to compose myself because I'm so disappointed right now. I've finished my job as fast as possible to watch today's episodes and the express, but there are no express episodes?? I've checked Tencent and they have the express, but why not on WeTV or iQIYI in my region? 😤😱🙄

There are lots of reasons. PA fans who thought the casts were not as good as the prequel's, PA fans who refused Rebirth was the continuation of their favorite drama, novel readers who judged the drama didn't follow the book, no kisses and intimate scenes between leads, and so many biased opinions since the first day airing.

I couldn't even visit this page for days because of so many hates toward Huang Yang Tian Tian, and high-as-the-sky praises for Zhao Li Ying and PA. I mean, they could do it in Zhao Li Ying's and PA's page, not Rebirth drama.

I'm watching this drama because I fall in love with the first trailer. Honestly, I've tried to watch the prequel to prepare myself to watch Rebirth, but I barely finish the first episode. Reading the hate comments almost prevent me from watching this, but I'm glad I watch through and will finish it tonight. The story is good, or should I say, my cup of tea. So, you may like it or dislike it, depends on your preference.

I've just watched some BTS on WeTV. I don't know why I haven't watched them, but I'm glad I give this drama a chance. Their hard work paid off!

Xing Er has no misunderstanding toward Zhuge Yue since their marriage through the last episode (episode 33). I don't know about later, but this drama reminds me of classic C-dramas I've watched when I was young. So, I'll take all the frustrations and pain to recall the old times. 😁

It's hilarious to see that Rebirth, Zhuge Yue, and Xing Er are living rent-free in the haters head since the team production have announced the drama and casts through the express day, and maybe for months later. Thank you for entertaining us, guys.

They have a lot of spending time together after reuniting, especially in and after episode 15. They're inseparable after Xing Er knows most of Zhuge Yue's secret in episode 24. All their enemies and even his family try their best to separate them after the confession in episode 28.

It's oh-so-painfully-slow burn if you count the 9 years waiting for this continuation from its prequel. The romance is not much because they almost have no time alone and there's always trouble where ever they are, but it's there. You can see it from their unwavering trust, full support, and hand-in-hand fighting for their main goal: restoring their realm. And they're officially married in episode 27.

The story is good and unpredictable. This drama's quite heavy in politic, so it's not everyone's cup of tea. If you like a political drama where everyone has hidden agenda, and show many power struggles, you may enjoy this. Oh. It's fast pace, so you may need to slow down when the story is too much to handle.
