Don’t spread any fake news here🙄.The twins never said they were in a romantic relationship. They meant that…
They're literally not playing into the rumors though. Some people are just not used to platonic friendship/ sisterhood but that is their own problem. I don't stan NJ but they never chase clout which is why even when they're with D4, they're always wearing mask and hats that covers half of their faces. And when they're traveling somewhere, most of the time they travel separately from them (in airports)
If they were chasing clout, they would definitely chase it much better than what they have been doing. So refrain from spreading rumors, let people believe what they want to believe too. There's never changing a determined mind, which is why these rumors are constantly spreading.
The premise of this is actually amazing but I think the writers were too lazy. The case was dragged on without any logic and any reason but just because. It's like they were throwing everything together to make a series and whatever works for them works. No story depth, unnecessary ghosts who make you the characters scream just for a second, wtf background of the main cast, messy plot twists,... it's like they were trying too hard. The world building was weak.
Really, the story is good. But they could have done more for a police ghost horror kind of plot. I expected them to twist my mind until I'm left asking myself "WTF HAPPENED " so yeah... lazy writers.
My journey to you - grey characterBlosson adversity- kinda 'autistic"
I'm not talking about different genres. Yes, different characters but the atmosphere around the characters feel the same. (or maybe it's the way she speaks. idk.) she's still a good actress though.
The drama was chill and just good. It seems like Morden Cdramas have been so good this past year.
Lu Yuxiao build the most craziest chemistry with her male lead, i love to see it. Though I honestly hope they'll give her different roles (I don't know how) cause it feels like she's been acting the same throughout her dramas, safe to say the ones I've seen her in. Same aura with different characters, both modern and historical.
Oh I love Neo so much but I'm struggling to go past the fifth episode.
I know I'm not over Glory yet but everyone has been praising this so I was looking forward to binge watch however, I've just finished episode 4 and nothing has captured me yet. I'm slowly losing hope but I'm considering to continue and see if my perspective will change or not.
I've truly enjoyed this but i got terribly lost in plot after episode 12. I knew what was going but it felt very disconnected ( maybe I shouldn't have binge watched) but yeah... i found it's also draining cause of the angst they shoved in the last episodes but I'm still glad I watched it.
The chemistry was so intense. The black flagged was intense. Everything here was so intense and I liked it all.
This was really good. This is what romcom is and I'm afraid we don't get that much in BL, instead, most of them are just cringe. With the clips I've seen of this before watching, I thought it was just overhyped and didn't have high expectations. But I was truly left wanting more...
I laughed from the first episode and loved every single character (apart from PerthSanta cause I don't like Perth's acting so far. I'm failing to see the chemistry between him and Santa.)
And I admit, I fast forwarded half of Thamepo but lord! The way WilliamEst have so much chemistry with only their gaze locked on each other, it makes me want to see them in multiple BLs nonstop.
And obviously, pondphuwin carried (As they should). Now I don't think anyone else would have made a perfect Thee and Peach apart from these two. What an excellent performance!!!! 👏
This drama is just beautiful. It isn't exactly about Interpretation. It's like "I can speak different languages but I cannot translate your love" kind of a drama. They were speaking a different kind of love and they had to translate each other's love to find the same understanding.
I love loved the SML but we should admit that Jung Ho Jin was perfet for her. Man was able to learn her inside and outside, while Hiro knew and fell in love with the facade she put on.
(This makes so much sense in my mind than it does in writing. 😭)
I love how the ratings are slowly climbing. It's a shame that some do not like it. But if anyone passes by here before binge watching, my advice is to go on and watch. It's a really good show.
Listen, we've watched so many bad romcoms already which people loved but if we were honest enough, we could have admitted that they were bad.
This one...? I was really expecting something so bad after reading the comments but no, y'all are hating and exaggerating too much.
This was not an absolute 10/10 but it was very good and I enjoy it so much. An honest 8.5/10 can do. It was warm and cozy, despite some of its heavy topics. The chemistry between the leads was good, and I'm glad we were not dealing with another cliché kdrama tropes.
It's a good watch. But we could have gotten a different ending. With how slow they kept developing their relationship, with that much push and pull, we deserved a very much satisfying ending.
I've just realized that half of the characters here were scheming, cunning and just evil but everyone got a redemption arc which was so annoying at times. There was barely any justice and believable sincerity, they just turned over a new leaf abruptly.
I admit, I was intrigued from the first episode but the story went downhill after Madam Yan case, then it picked up after they went to the capital.
I have some dislikes towards the characters and I think I've yelled a lot throughout the drama so I'll not repeat myself. Despite its flaws, I think this was one of the best dramas I've watched. And I rarely watch ongoing dramas unless they're worth my time and patience.
All the actors were good, including Nezer (who I don't follow her dramas because of her stoic acting and failure to build chemistry with her leading men) but surprisingly, her chemistry with Neo was not even questionable. They fitted perfectly together.
Women power. Whatever Women did in this series (apart from the grandmother) I say yes to it! This was awesome 👌
I'm on episode 32 and when that madame from the Duke household kept on preaching by being obedient and submissive to men (their husband), i was like "they really don't know who they're talking to." cause they definitely ain't talking about the young Miss of the Rong family who was raised to hold more power than men.
That's one thing I applause about the Rong family and I wish we were taught like that growing up. I'm sure women wouldn't have to take so much bullsh*t from men. Oh how I love girl's power!!
We've had women who are well written in cdramas so there's nothing wrong to admit that RSB was not that well written. Her scheming has a lot of plot holes with them trying to keep the audience in the dark and suddenly, the odds are in her favor. They keep letting us piece the puzzles with an "OMG" in the end, it would have been better if they made us understand her tactics. But no, everything looks like a coincidence with her.
When you're writing a character, give us the reason why we show care. Keeping us in suspense by playing around a storyline is not difficult. But here, they focus on a certain arc then make their solution feels like luck then the process keeps on repeating with different cases.
So misogyny aside. We've had Princess Gambit, Prisoner of Beauty, The Glory... those were written very well. Of course we were not looking for the same storyline as the other dramas, but if you're going to write a cold, scheming woman who is smart, give them an aura and let us feel her. Don't make it seem like she's God's favorite(by always relying on luck), let us see her scheming.
(I haven't been so invested in a drama in a long while so I'll always give my honest opinion. I really like this drama so I'll def not sugarcoat just because I love it lmao 😭 Somethings are frustrating. )
This drama has been so good, but as it nears the end, it gets disappointing somehow. They've done well writing the characters but they're not so great that they would stay with you.
RSB character is strong and dominant character yet sometimes I easily question her decisions cause they feel so stupid. It's like her wit and scheming have no depth but they write around plot holes just to make her become one step ahead of everyone.
And where's the LJL we saw in the first episodes? I know I expected some great imperial official, not someone who becomes stupid the second he falls in love. they kept calling him scheming, but he's been so deceived by so many things that it sounds so cringe to call him such.
And I just hate how RSB went from following her own values to go back crawling to that evil grandmother while they try to give this grandma some pity background and want us to feel sorry for her.
With how scheming the sisters have been, it's exhausting to see how they're giving them some weak redemption arcs.
We're 6 episodes from the finale, and while it's so good, really... I'll forget the characters as soon as I find another good drama to watch. Their "strong" characters are not strong at all.
If they were chasing clout, they would definitely chase it much better than what they have been doing. So refrain from spreading rumors, let people believe what they want to believe too. There's never changing a determined mind, which is why these rumors are constantly spreading.

They should give us more thriller if they're gonna make us grimace in dislike with lots of plot holes and nothing logical.

GMMTV peaked with this series.
