Title Love Story in the 1970s Spoiler
I’m at episode 2, i want some spoilers ❤️ When will Fan MuYang remember everything? When will Fang MuYang…
He gets all of his memories back in episode 6. He loves her from the beginning, but it takes Feini a lot longer to fall for him. She acknowledges her love for him much later in episode 17.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
In the novel they did not have a happy ending
I misread the original post - I thought you were saying the main leads didn’t have a happy ending 😬 I’m assuming they do.

Ep 19How do we feel about the fl being so considerate of Ling Yi?
Mixed. I wish that she was more angry and vindictive, but she did get credit and recogntion for her hard work. But her not having her punished was pretty consistent with her character. I imagine that she could have ruined Ling Yi’s reputation, which would have been devastating for her in that community. So I can see why she would have been content with just getting her credit back without taking it further.

It is very frustrating to see the devils not get their due.I would love it if Muyang's sister and brother-in-law…
Same! I like Muyang’s sister and the doctor’s relationship too! This show is so so good!

So episodes 18 & 19 felt like mostly filler. Lots of screen time was dedicated to all of the secondary couples. I think I sometimes find it confusing, especially when we see Ms Xu and her son / daughter in law being a happy family. Like am I supposed to forget everything that Ms Xu did to Fei Ni? Or the way that her son treated Fe Ni? I wasn’t sure how I’m supposed to feel, but it certainly wasn’t the fluffy feelings as the show seemed to try to elicit. Ye Feng and Ling Yi’s relationship isn’t sweet or romantic in my mind. When Ling Yi suggested that Ye Feng was “superior to Muyang in every way” I was like what? H o w ??? When she later told Muyang that she was desperate to keep her newspaper job and that she learned to trample on others to save herself I was like huh??? Muyang was going through the same hardships as you and look at him - he became such a kind and happy person. I had some mixed feelings about some of the stuff in these episodes. I appreciate them showing a bit of their experiences in the wilderness, and maybe I just don’t have enough of a cultural understanding of these times to have empathy for the scheming characters. I also think that Fei Ni and Muyang are going to succeed without stooping to the levels that other characters have in order to get ahead.

Honestly, all of this.Instead of viewing the leads as two very flawed yet genuinely good individuals still trying…
I like how we posted similar replies at the same time 😂

I think taking something from another person without their permission is called theft by definition, regardless of your intentions 😂And I am preeettyy sure that if Muyang would have asked Fei Ni for the money to buy fish she would have said no. I’m not disparaging Muyang, but rather calling out the double standards and the people who are putting him on a pedestal and trampling over Fei Ni. I totally know that Muyang had the sweetest of intentions and I’m not even remotely mad at him. In fact, this show may be one of my top favorite dramas. But I get where Fei Ni’s reservations are coming from. And nowhere in any of my posts did I label Muyang as a thief. He stole, absolutely, but I wouldn’t throw that label at him. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes!! When people think that the fake marriage contract is a bigger offense than stealing money. 👏🏻 This 💯. I couldn’t stand the Fei Ni hate so I blocked people on here lol

Ep 13 was epic funny for laughs I looped it for the confrontation scene. The whole awkward 70s vibes makes it…
He’s a delight 🤗

Random Not gonna lie, I’m a bit disappointed where the fl hide the marriage contact smh
She was disappointed with herself too if that helps 😆

Not us waiting 17 episodes for this 2 second kiss...but I can't complain
If y’all thought that Fei Ni would go straight from being 💯avoidant of anything even remotely hinting of physical attraction to making out for her first kiss then you missed a lot of her characterization since the beginning 😂

I am convinced at this point that almost every other secondary romantic relationship in this drama is just being used to highlight how amazing Fei Ni and Muyang are 😂
