Finally caught up through 24. Guys, this show is SO GOOD! Outside of some of the editing I have no complaints 👏🏻!

I think you guys are more angry about Lightning than Mu is 😂 On a serious note, didn’t she leave Lightning with San Lai at the shelter after she went back to live in Canada? I get that Zhao shouldn’t have just taken him, but she left him in Thailand and Zhao wouldn’t have known if she would ever come back for him. So he took Lightning and brought him back to China for a better life than what he would have had in Thailand. Should he have asked first? Yah, sure… should San Lai have been honest? Yeah. But is all of this fiery outrage and hatred towards Zhao really warranted? I mean hate him if you want 🤷🏼‍♀️ But Mu doesn’t seem to care 😂If circumstances kept me from being able to take care of my dog (he’s a Dalmatian, btw) and I had to leave the country, and had to leave him with a friend who runs a dog shelter in Thailand… I wouldn’t be angry if my trusted ex-boyfriend took him and gave him a better life 😂If we focused real quick on Lightning’s best interest, wouldn’t there be worse things than him going to China and living in a loving home as a cafe dog with a loving adult that he already knew? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just my two cents. ALSO ONE MORE THING… I am glad that Zhao had an emotional support dog to help him through his difficult time. Some of the scenes with just him and Lightning really showed that Lightning has been helping him with his recovery.

Geez, reading the comments prior to watching the episodes myself had me expecting to go into a shitshow of horrible episodes 😂 I’m actually really loving the new arc and the bickering and misunderstandings are adorable.

I just figured he was on a lot of pain killers during the balcony scene 🤷🏼‍♀️In the book he supposedly fainted from the injury during that scene (when she wasn’t there, either sometime before she showed up or after she left).

Just finished 20 and am almost finished with 21. Yeah the editing is sloppy… On the one hand Mu was told that Zhao was in critical condition in a secret location, but then she meets with Zhao on the balcony, asks him if he saw her fireworks and then excitedly thought that Zhao was not in the explosion? And then she asked him if he was hurt? But the officer told you in the beginning that he’s in critical condition?? *scratches head*

Also, so far the breakup isn’t bothering me at all. He basically broke up with her to her face while on the balcony. If the order of things is correct… he broke up with her, she went back to Canada, she texted him a bunch of times with no response (he broke up with her), and then he let her know that he was changing his number and that he will reach out to her. The dog thing was… not great, sure. But he was pretty clear about the breakup with her, and clear to the viewers that he didn’t want to be a burden to her with his future so uncertain 🤷🏼‍♀️I’d have been more pissed if he ghosted her without the clear breakup and closure, but the breakup was clear. IMO, he isn’t acting out of character after a breakup. He didn’t want to be contacted by his ex, didn’t want his friends / family telling his now-ex was up to… 🤷🏼‍♀️ Makes sense to me??? Whatever his reasons were, he ended the relationship and that was within his right. Am I weird for not seeing any major problems outside of the dog (haven’t gotten there yet)? I also think that he partly ended it for himself as well, so he wouldn’t carry the additional weight of worrying about how she was coping while he was rehabilitating. I also echo the other sentiments that he was considering her future and didn’t want her to get tied down with him in case he would never be able to walk again.

Regardless - he clearly broke up with her to her face. Whether she accepted it or not wasn’t his responsibility??? Sure, he later told her he was changing his number and will eventually reach out, but I didn’t interpret that as him undoing the breakup, but rather acknowledging that they had a history long before they dated. He broke up with her… Doesn’t he have the right now to choose what information he wants her to know about his life? I think so.

Yeah, EK has been on YouTube forever, but it’s a commitment as are most Turkish shows 😊It’s lighthearted enough, though, where it might be easy to put down or watch while you’re in between shows. Can Yaman (the ML) is verrry built, yah. I don’t mind, personally 🤭

Clumsy and immature, yes. She gets in over her head with her rich and conniving boss who blackmails her from the beginning, and eventually buries herself in her lies and it makes it harder and harder to be honest, even after she breaks free of the boss. But she doesn’t share a lot of her feelings with anyone, except her best friend, so it’s not surprising she keeps things from the ML. It has its frustrating stretches, yes. But it helps that the ML knows most of the truth and waits / sometimes pressures her to be honest.

I wouldn’t describe her as stupid though. She’s got a photographic memory and she’s talented and creative. But as you said - patience is needed. Can, while he communicated better than Sanem, wasn’t all that great at being forthright with her either 😂 But that’s the point - it’s a show lighthearted like Dynamite Kiss where the humor / plot is mostly based off of the misunderstandings, secrets and lies lol.

Guys, seriously watch the Turkish drama Erkenci Kus / Early Bird - the whole series is available on YouTube. If you like romcoms with chaos, misunderstandings, indulgient fan service / coincidences, a bit of noble idiocy, lies, lots of keeping secrets, FIERY chemistry, a great cast of side characters and catchy music this is a great option. It has a lot of similarities with Dynamite Kiss - such as a kiss between the leads in the first episode, a less-wealthy FL & rich ML, the FL being bribed and then blackmailed to go against the ML in the beginning, some expected / arranged engagements, etc. I also can’t tell you enough how HOT 🔥the ML and FL are. There’s also angst, LOTS of seamless skinship and sensuality- especially from the ML. And the angst doesn’t devolve to the dark pits of the FL getting hit / abused. It also kinda gives My Big Fat Greek Wedding vibes. The family relationships are great as well, and the FL’s parents are happily married. It’s a LONG, but lovely show for you guys who like the kind of tropes in Dynamite Kiss. It’s too bad this one took a nosedive 😔

I hope she makes him grovel a bit. She sought him out in Thailand and repeatedly went against her parent’s wishes to be with him. She has shown time and time again that she can make decisions for herself, even at the risk of being seen as “inappropriate”. She has been nothing but steadfast, faithful and understanding towards him - and she was even unwavering when she saw him with that blond girl while working undercover… She chased him for the whole show thus far. She deserves to be chased back.

Ugh 🤦🏼‍♀️I hate the meddling parents trope.

Oh man. I wish the editing was better. I would be nice if they released longer episodes or filled in these gaps later on.

A lot of people have commented on how the editing is sloppy with the last half of the show so far. Most people have similar questions, and some chalk it up to him muscling through it or something idk 🤷🏼‍♀️
