Yeah I get it. I also think the more time lapses after a lie the harder and harder it gets to tell the truth. I hope that we get to see him chasing her for a bit, and that she makes him work a little to get back on her good graces.
So I think the editing issues are becoming more noticeable to me. Like I just finished 17 and started 18. It was a bit weird having the FL “stay the night with him”, have a conversation with the ML and then it immediately cuts to the ML finding Sanlai to chat when he was fishing… Did he just leave Mu alone at the garage? Like there was no transition from the conversation with the leads to the conversation with Sanlai and Zhao when fishing. The other strange one was at the end of 17 and into 18. Again, it looked like the MC was having their open conversation at night… 18 shifts to it being in broad daylight when the FL returns home… and then it cuts right after that to her running back to the garage at NIGHT in the same clothes to share her idea with the ML… the ML was like, “didn’t I just send you home?” Am I crazy? lol. I mean it’s not ruining anything for me, but it’s definitely noticeable.
