Oh. Well that doesn’t make me feel better 😂🙇🏼‍♀️ I hate sad endings, but at the same time I wish I could watch the show with everyone else as it airs 😩 Sigh. Anywho, I love the look of this one.

Well that makes me feel a little better. Seems kinda silly to take a novel HE and change the drama to a sad one? Does that happen often, or is it mostly SE novels being made to HEs in the drama 🤷🏼‍♀️

This one is on my list, but I do wonder if we will get to see Cheng with his hair down… or is it gonna be tied up the entire show 😭

Never saw Ashes of Love because I detest love triangles 😅 Also heard there’s a lot of drama around miscommunication, not communicating and secret keeping. I hope that it won’t be the case with this one 😬

Yeah 🙄 It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. I mean from my understanding the SML is just after the FL because she looks like his deceased wife - not because he truly cares about her or anything. Still we’ll see 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am looking forward to seeing these two together. I watched the FL in Blossoms in Adversity and didn’t care a whole lot for the show even though I liked the actress. Obviously CZY is major draw, but it’ll be nice seeing familiar actors from other shows I’ve seen be in the same one 🤩

Nah. She kept lying to him, even after all of the sacrifices he made for her. She kept. on. lying. and using him. And she literally tried to steal one of his most precious items from him right after they had sex for the first time WHILE HE WAS STILL SLEEPING. No thanks - I hate relationships that are based on lies and keeping secrets. I also hate HATE love triangles and possessive SMLs. And I detest relational drama based on miscommunication or not communicating at all. I also hate breakups. Outside of the leads having chemistry, the lovely visuals and the ML being beautiful and talented, LITC has every single trope that I hate. :/ It’s totally cool that other people are into the show, but it’s not for me. After JBZ got struck by lighting carving her fake name into the marriage stone and she lied to him AGAIN and then immediately after that plotted to steal from him I was pretty much done.

Yah I keep coming back to this one as the best of them all.

Yeah lemme know if you like it! It starts off slow, but the plot builds as the story progresses.

I saw a happy ending. Others have seen it as bittersweet / open. It does get very sad near the end.
