They fight and separate in episode 17 for 8 episodes. The misunderstandings about his identity are all throughout the show, but it really is the focus point episodes 24-27 with a lot of misunderstandings. Just a few corrections 😊

Ummm… Not as of episode 30. We don’t think they do, but the FL tries to pull away from the ML in episode 31 because she finds out information about her parents. I am pretty sure by the next episode they talk about it and hug, based on the previews we have seen.

And that’s the other thing. I’m all about giving secondary characters some development, but never at the expense of the leads. That scene at the end of 30 with the brother was so… unnecessary. Like why? 🤦🏼♀️

Yeah, same. I’m just remembering him taking down a ton of men in the woods WHILE INJURED. Or helping FCY fight the rest of them off. Or his powerful presence in that court scene in Lin’an. Or when in one moment he was taking care of FCY’s injuries before turning around and stabbing her assailant in the shoulder and beating him with his fists. Like… or when he revealed himself through the shadows as the Marquis. Or his first meeting with Qi Min and his chopstick throwing. Or when he foiled their plans with the grain. It really sucks that as soon as he reunited with his army they stopped doing much with his character 😞

It wasn’t totally clear when the FCY and Princess scene took place. FCY told XZ that she had to leave or she’d never catch up to her Butcher Squad, so I assumed she had left. XZ also said that he had ordered her to be secretly guarded. So people assume that the Princess and FCY scene took place near the beginning of the episode when FCY asked her for help. If that’s the case, though, then the hickey would definitely have been from the night they sparred.
