Ahh yeah. I liked this one primarily for the leads and their relationship. I read through some comments early on and others have said in the novel the FL was depicted as very petite. It did kinda become a matter of suspending your disbelief that no one else saw through her disguise 😂 I also had similar thoughts about her cuteness and reconciling that with how she’s supposed to be this legendary badass general… but she’s acting cute? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Some of the more serious scenes show the general side of her more, but I see what you mean. The villains were kinda dumb in this one, too.

BEST SCENE EVER 🔥 I rewatch that scene occasionally! The music, the effects, all of it.

Did he lose his memory? 😂 I don’t remember that part. I am assuming it doesn’t last long, as I truly don’t even recall that happening.

They get married in episode 34, I believe, but it is not a happy event. I don’t remember getting the same vibes about their romance as you are currently, but I do remember they are competitive rivals in the beginning part of the show. I think it does develop into more of the sweeter romance…. but if you don’t like the FL now you probably will hate her later on. I liked the FL to begin with, but really disliked a couple of her choices in the later part of the show that ultimately caused me to lower my rating of it.

Ok ok ok hear me out - it would be a shame to toss such a great show and miss out on some great scenes. I knew going into this what was gonna happen, so what I initially did was I stopped watching at the end of 18 or maybe partway through episode 19 because things were good with the main leads. I took a loooong break and finished the rest of the show much later. So I would recommend that if you don’t care as much about the plot but love the actress who plays FL to drop it at the end of 18. And if you never finish then at least you get some good stuff instead of missing out 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am keeping an eye on this drama and waiting to see how it ends and what the deal is with love triangles. I gotta say, though, that I’m thoroughly enjoying the comments section 🤣 You guys are wild

Yeah I totally get it. I am not sure what drove me to finish it, but I did 😂I found the ML hot and when the romance finally kicks off it’s 🔥👌🏻

Basically the FL is in a different body in season 2. Soooo essentially a different actress plays the FL. And many people did not like the new actress as much as the old one. Plus, it took some getting used to the new chemistry between the leads. So there ya go lol. HE though.

Ooooohhh pretty much the last half of the show lol. But really - it’s not bad and it’s actually very romantic. If you want me to spell out more details of what to expect let me know 😊

I get that, but if you watch the sequence of events, he told the FL that he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and then proceeded to plot the assassination… And then tell her afterward in the woods that the love is still real. I dunno. I do plan on rewatching it, and maybe I’ll see something different then second time. ALSO, your icon 😍I love love love TPoB.

So this is probably a very dumb question, but would someone who HATES love triangles hate this show 😂?

“Are You the One” Is one where the ML royally fcks up, FL leaves him and then he tries to win her back. 😊

Yeah I’ll have to pay more attention to these nuances when I rewatch it in a couple weeks. I was multitasking for some of these last episodes and could have easily missed the subtleties. Clearly this wasn’t the right show to have on when working on a computer lol.

Nah the ending is happy. Abrupt, but happy 😊
