I think it's pointless to talk about it. You have your only simple way, probably you know only simple relationships even in your life, which is maybe fine, without complications. It was only a kiss, not a wedding 🙈 and obviously it won't be so easy for Mhok in other episodes and Day will be scared, that doesn't mean he can't get to know something new because Day have wanted kiss from August 😊 So ok, everyone thinks by their own way and I don't understand you, but I'm glad I understand director ❤️

No one says that he immediately stopped loving August, but good feelings he can have towards someone else. And the love between him and August wasn't something too, more like platonic, Day could hope only for a while that it could be both sides love. I think you look at it too much as a scientist or something like that. Feelings and love don't have to be clear and easy, it's complex and confusing. I think that kiss was just hope for normal life. Day was broken, sad and thought that every one can only pity him, but Mhok showed him, that he can like him without pity, it can't be in this case talk about if it is in bad time or it's inappropriate, that's mainly saying: In my eyes you are handsome man able to love and being loved. And if Day would be not ok with it, he could tell, but it definitely warmed his aching heart. He also used to love August before and then he couldn't see anyone new, for a year, even if he thought more about Mhok, it still must be very difficult and I think it wouldn't have occurred to him right away that he maybe doesn't love August still the same at this time like before, he was his last visible memory of love...heart is complicated

Day was definitely in love with August which multiply broke his heart and then there was again the only one person who is absolutely comfortable with, who support him, believe in him and don´t pity him and Day feel with Mhok good, it doesn´t have to be immediately pure big love, but still can be atrract to him and I don´t see any reason, why he shouldn´t enjoy the amazing kiss what he received from Mhok an d the real love can come in future, step by step...a few steps they already did and a few they will do. Normal relationship.

For me this series is realistic, no one is perfect and no one lives life like it would be written by authors in perfect BL series. This is reason why I love OF so much, it's a life not a fairytale and characters are interesting, especially Ray and If you really watch this series you can't see there only sex
