This episode gave me a migraine from all the crying I did during it, but I'm so excited for the final set of episodes! It seems like truths will finally be known and agendas will finally meld. LET'S GO!

Seonyul is lighting fires wherever he goes with one lonely photograph lmaooooo. His scenes with both Soohyun and Suho today were wild, and I genuinely feel bad for Yuri... Even though I feel like I could use a whole secondary drama about WHAT WOULD POSSESS HER. Now, let's please enact Mission: Protect Everyone's Moms and Mission: Destroy Kim Joon!

The director himself said it during the press conference: "I thought he could have the image and acting depth that can be imagined in the script. I think he was just cut out for the role, and I think it was destiny that I found him."

You're so right, and I'm saying y'all are letting what you THINK you know about him cloud your vision. Because he is definitely portraying what needs to be portrayed when it comes to Seonyul.

Yes, I am fully aware of that. I'm saying he has been doing subtle moments as well as the more theatrical ones, and that he goes above and beyond in other areas.

What do you mean he doesn’t have it in him when he’s literally the one doing it? I don’t think you guys know the first thing about him, you just have this crazy strong image you can’t get out of your mind no matter what.

He’s literally doing all his own stunt scenes - including the motorcycle chase and jumping out the window - but he’s too soft lmao. He truly could not get any tougher.

Yes, I’m so glad he decided to challenge himself with Seonyul. He’s doing so well with both his pain and his scheming 🙇🏻‍♀️

He doesn’t know that his dad was unreasonable lmao, he wasn’t present for that final conversation and Soohyun gave no defense other than “and I would do it again!”

I’m pretty sure that’s a misdirect, like most things in the show have been so far. There is probably another angle and person we are not seeing, and THAT who he is planning to run over.

I'm pretty sure there is more to the story tbh.

Firstly, he didn't immediately start plotting his vengeance. We see that he was getting beat up in school because of his dad's trial, then after his dad's death, he was still going to med school and living with his mom. It's when his mom is taken out that he goes off the deep end and blames everything on Soohyun.

What fascinates me about Seonyul's obsession with getting revenge on Soohyun is that everyone says he was a sweet guy until his MOTHER'S accident. He was still going to med school at that point, only dropping out after she was struck and he couldn't get any answers about or justice for what happened to her.

Makes me wonder if he's sublimated all that rage into a vendetta against Soohyun because she's the only person he has available to take it out on. I'm positive that the second he figures out that Congressman Kim Jun (most clearly and definitely) is the one who really killed Geonwoo and who had his mom run over, he's going to switch sides like a speeding bullet and come for him instead.

To be fair, he probably doesn't know how his father behaved in front of Soohyun. He DID apologize and act remorseful during the trial, and she acted very UN-remorseful during her trial (as she should but still, she probably looked heartless to him).

Did he not do a good job in this episode? Plenty of pretty men are not getting a role like this, and he is killing it. Like, yes, of course the whole reason he was practically kidnapped off the street and thrown into the industry is his face, but he's putting in the work and reaping the rewards.

This episode was a ROLLER COASTER, help! And kudos to my bb Eunwoo, he is ACTING and holding his own.

She's not explicitly his girlfriend. She's his best friend who flirts with him and seems to like him romantically, but so far he has rejected her advances. Whether he thinks she's serious or joking is another story, lol.

Not between the leads. Soohyun (Kim Namjoo) is married, though her husband Suho (Kim Kangwoo) is certainly keeping secrets that will be their undoing. Seonyul (Cha Eunwoo) has a female best friend Sujin (played by Yang Hyeji) who probably has a crush on him, but no word or hint on whether he will notice lol.

LOL, they're not actually dating, just friends. But fingers crossed he'll realize what he's missing when doctor taeho makes a move.
