whoa!now it became difficult to choose which is the worst between wish you, color rush and this...the only good…
Yes, i agree. In my opinion, taking overall into consideration, the best between the three is Color rush, followed by Wish you and the worst is this drama.

Yes. MANGO TV do choose to coproduce too, i was looking of what kind of dramas Mango tv has did, and it has one where Ren Jialun was in, named Under the power, for which it was coproduced by MANGO and QIYI. That cdrama catched my eyes as it was one of the few dramas made by them that i hear about it. It`s more well made than others and i think it was fairly popular. I just saw, Love and redemption too was coproduced by a lot of companies: it has Tencent, Youku and Mango. I think that`s why it`s so popular, it was well made probably, it has a 8.8 rating in MDL, and this is rare. Not only Mango, but other companies do coproduces sometime, so i hope it will be the case for Thousand autumns too. God i think i will cry if this will happen. The novel Thousand autumns really has a special heart in my heart beside Mo Du, they are my favorite novels. The story and the characters are really unique and charming writed and the donghua made me love the novel even more.

Liu Xueyi is a really talented and impressive actor. I was really impressed on some clips i saw of his character from Love and redemption. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LRoQ7DBb8M ----here is a mv for one of his characters in Love and redemption, that take place in a short period of time, so it don`t spoiler a lot of the story, it`s hard to figure out what it happens anyway, but you can see of how he is as an actor and how he looks in costume dramas. The story in that drama for what i saw is long, complex with lot of lifetimes and things like that and i heard it was really popular at is time. I will watch this drama too, if he is confirmed to play in Thousad autumns, to get used to him.
So, from what I gathered from twitter until now: --- The drama was initially planned to start the recordings in 2019, but it is not know what really happened, and because of that the filming will start this year. --- Ren Jialun studio has denied that he will be part of this drama. --- Liu Xueyi has not denied his involvement with this drama, but a lot of commenters in weibo says that he would most likely not make it as a main character, but a supporting one. The reason, he looks too young. --- ALL OF THESE ARE RUMORS, we have to wait for official information. But neverthless, i am very happy for these rumors, as it confirms that this drama will really be made, and it`s not anymore just a WISH, or MAYBE. I found something similar from a user in twitter named alessa mila https://twitter.com/alessa_mila/media And from the comments in espanol, as i know a bit of espanol as well, it says that Ren Jialun has confirmed he will not be part of Thousand autumns, but Liu Xueyi has indeed signed to be part of this drama and soon it will begin the filming. It just rumors indeed, but god i hope they are true, at least the part where Ren Jialun will not be Shen Qiao as it really is not a good match. I WILL SAID IT AGAIN--- REN JIALUN studio denied the rumor---thanks god. I will share if i found out more too. The user Alessa mila in twitter do seems to be reliable when it comes to news, as i saw it usually post a lot of news related too the fillming of some danmei dramas as Seizing dreams/Duomeng, Chasing the light, Immortality and such. I send you a comment two times before, but i have to delete them, as MDL keep messing up the twitter links i added. More than adding this user channel from twitter i can`t do.
Rumored actors are as quoted from twitter:"[Information] RUMORThe cast of the drama "Thousands Autumns" is ready!…
Thank you for posting this. Hope people who come across news about this drama will share with people here too, since it makes the waiting more bearable. These rumors are a good thing, as usually the upcoming drama adaptations that has casting rumors, the rumors have to come from somewhere, so they probably starting to look for actors, and is possible the filming will start later this year. But those two actors together are just a NO NO. As you said Liu Xueyi has to be Yan Wushi from how he looks, no way he can play Shen Qiao. And Ren Jialun is a good actor, i was really impressed in some clips i saw of him, but he looks too old to play Shen Qiao, not matter who his costar is, and i don`t think he can do a good job in playing Yan Wushi. So i really think those two together are just unreliable rumors. And also Ren Jialun is busy as hell lol, he has a lot of upcoming dramas, i am really about 99% sure he won`t be in this drama too. Actually in some of the suggestions i wrote recently, about who i think would make a good fit for Yan Wushi i recommended Liu Xueyi as Yan Wushi too, if they will go with a younger cast, as with right make up Liu Xueyi can look older, and is a talented actor who it has yet to land a impressive role to make it big. Chen Kun is a really good choice for Yan Wushi lol, i didn`t add him to my recommendations as he is too popular and i don`t think he would play in a production like this.
I only hope that Mango tv can see the huge potential of this drama to make it big, if handled well, as is the only danmei adaptation that they get their hand on at this point, that it can bring a lot of profit. Especially as the donghua has attracted a lot of fans, the fandom is getting bigger. I really don`t understand this company, don`t only they don`t learn from the criticism done to them, they don`t even try to promote their dramas well, isn`t this losing money? The only thing that it bring me hope is a really think the backlash against them will be more bigger than usual with this drama, if they mess this up. So i hope they know this, and try to give the necessary suport to this drama. The original source/novel is really good, and it exist the donghua as comparison, so if they make it worst that even a donghua did it, the reputation they have will suffer a bigger hit.
Someone pls tell me....are they actually doing it??
What do you mean by this lol, you make me laugh? If you mean the two main characters has sex in the movie, a really realistic, hot, and passionate as i hadn`t seen from a long time from Japan., YES OF COURSE. If you mean if the actors are actually really having sex, A BIG NO. This is not a porn movie, but is a really realistic as it could be, if is considered is adapted from a manga, and it has actually well known, experienced actors lol. Okura Tadayoshi and Narita Ryo are experienced and respected actors in japanese entertainment industry, search them if you don`t believe me. If the movie made you have those thoughts, it means that JAPAN has stepped up their game, as it can make people have a hard time believing that they could be so bold and daring in showing these kind of intimate scenes.
Omg, i just noticed too. I heard about this issue with mango tv too, and they`re also the production company of…
No, i didn`t heard yet of any news about ss2, but they have to do it, Tencent even confirmed to make a second season for Scumbag system and just released the ss2 of Legend of exorcism, they have to do it for TA too. I was really impressed how TA donghua despite the story, that is not easy to adapt, managed to make possible to have different interpretations for novel readers to be able too realistically deduce what they want to see, and for non-novel readers to imagine what they want to, is not an easy feat. They make such good changes that are noticeable and not noticeable at the same time , but managed they retain the main story line of the novel.
Just noticed that this will be made by Mango...Hope they outsource their editing team otherwise it will be a disaster...
Omg, i just noticed too. I heard about this issue with mango tv too, and they`re also the production company of In the darkness and Lu Yao and other damnei dramas. I really hope they, at you said let someone else occupe of the editing. The problem is this drama also needs a high budget, i hope they give the production team enough money and try to give this drama as much support as they can and promote it well. They can also change for the better the bad reputation they have with this drama, if they do things right. I was wondering who is the production company for this drama, as i really want to do well, i observed they were a lot of danmei dramas lately who had the production company added in the details section.
LMAO SHIP THE CHARACTERS NOT THE ACTORS!!!!! THAT'S HOW YOU GONNA ENJOYED THE SHOW FOR SURE!! GUARANTEED HON ;D…
Yes. I agree on everything you said, but especially the fact that Mo Du is one of the best writed novels ever. In my opinion Mo Du is the best writed novel of Priest, from the ones translated of her that i read until now. All novels of Priest are a unique piece on their own right, all are, but Mo Du just has a very soft spot in my heart. It's just more completely writed and you just get a full grasp of characters on a more deeply level than the rest of her novels. It's like Priest was really confident and knew very well what she was doing when she writed this novel. I can't imagine the amount of thinking and research she has done to write this novel.

I will return your comment, WELL SAID. Like i said before, i really want people to understand how toxic for the actors and actress careers and damaging this thinking can be for dramas/movies in general. As those kind of toughts, if is applied in actions and the company productions and entertainment industry in general don`t try to make changes by not encuraging this kind of toughts, it will give too much power to fans of dramas and movies in general, not only bl productions, and this is never good. Dramas and movies can never get to be released or be cancelled, lose money and all the hard work is for nothing, as a result of these kind of thoughts, if people unite to complain, criticize or express toughts that they wouldn`t support the drama if they don`t like something about an actor, like how in this case dating/married. South Korea had this problem and it was severely, as some point in the past, where they considered especially the idols, but actors as well dating news as scandals and it influenced their music and acting career. Now, things changed in Korea related to this. But it didn`t changed once and for all in general and i firmly believe if the entertainment agencies continue to take in considerations fans complains, criticism towards their idols, and not doing their job to protect them lol, the entertainment industry in Korea will destroy from inside. I can see it already happening, with all the canceling of a lot of actors in recent cases of bullying and other scandals that actors and idols had because the companies and agencies failed to protect their artist. I`m not saying not punishing actors when is proven they are guilty, or not criticizing them when they should, but it should be a limit to how much agencies and entertainment industry should listen to fans. These toughts are the most toxic kind, not matter what anyone say, people can have different kind of toxic toughts about something related with the characters , actors, but these kind of toughts is just too unhealthy. Thoughts that the fact that the actors are dating or married make people uncomfortable to watch their characters interacting or they being cast in productions like this is disrespectful to the spouse is just bullshit, even in the past people didn`t have this kind of toughts. And the most baffling one, the fact that is okay if the actors casted in BG dramas and movies are dating or married and in bl productions not, lol, why? This is really problematic and discriminative, what this world is becoming to be? These actors are doing their job, a job, people usually don`t get fired from their job because of their personal issues or what is happening in their personal life. Yes they gain more money , and i agree, they are public figures, so if they want to continue doing their job, they have to be careful on how they behave, but those should refer to not do criminal acts, some really messed up and selfish acts than a lot of people can agree is wrong, but not refraining themselves from dating, getting married, divorcing for fear their chances of getting roles are in jeopardy. Yes, the actors gain more, but people also has to understand: -- the selfcare they have to care for, needs a lot of money to be mentained, even if they want to or not -- the pressure is huge, this job come with a high risk of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, beside the natural talent for acting -- is not easy to act, most people would tremble just knowing they are filmed, what are we talking about. I think WOH production team was really selfish and careless by only thinking short term, but not caring the power they give to fans, for giving interviews that promotes the messed up message that the two main actors casted has to be single, unmarried or divorced or they wouldn`t have casted them at all, not matter if they are the perfect fit to the characters they audition for . What kind of unprofessional behaviour is this, they should at least not mention this, they are bringing backwards all the changes in the good direction that the chinese industry has suffered in recent years. Anyway, thank you for writing this, as i had the chance to once again share my taughts about this matter.
I think the rumored actor to play Xie Lian 6491vangp is refering to is Ding Cheng Xin. If you scroll down you will be able to find out who the rumored cast to play Xie Lian and Hua Cheng is. But these are just rumors, i am going crazy too, i hope they will reveal the cast soon, because i`m sure the cast is decided by now. You can keep the suspanse for long, until fans gets really annoyed with all this secrecy
The manga has two volume , each with a different name, i will send you the name and the link of both volumes.Volume…
Yes. The movie do follows what happens closely in the manga, but only volume 1. The movie only adapted volume 1 of the manga and the manga has vol 2 too, that continue to where the movie ends. So if you not enjoy reading mangas usually, you're right, is best to not read it.
I just saw this information made by Sana Joanne in youtube who usually post a lot of recently news about some of her favorite actors and dramas, and today she made a post about WInner is King. I don`t know anything else and i don`t know if the source is credible. All credit goes to Sana Joanne channel in youtube His channel has some really wonderful news and photos of the actors from Winner is King and Immortality also. https://www.youtube.com/c/SanaJoanne539/community
If winner is king already passed the second review of the censorship there is a huge chance that it will air before immortality. The person explained that the director of the winner is king trying his best to push the drama forward because of this reason and the reason is that due to the 100 th celebration of the founding Chinese Communist Party. No historical costume drama will air starting from June. If they want to air it, they have to air it in May or in November. The costume dramas which air in the last half are not considered as successful but in this case. Immortality is a fantasy drama and not about the history but winner is king clearly has parts included about the history and the overall story is about a king. It's kinda offensive to this communism. So people still expect that winner is king will air first and immortality will air second because both of them are from the same company. I hope ten cent will handle this well. Therefore these are only rumors circulating around media. No one knows what will come first for sure.
Edit- but even if this air first, don't worry. You will like the plot very much. As a person who read the novel I can say that it's one of the best stories out there and the couple is so sweet. There is nothing similar to immortality cp though. These two couples are the opposite of each other. So we can enjoy both immortality and winner is king. Plus you will like a certain someone so much after watching. That character is hilarious.
The acting in Episode 2 is fine, but the living room GSD/SY scene shows clear non-consent, IMO. Upon re-watching,…
I think why people are so bothered by the coach scene and me too, is because we don`t think is necessary for Gao Shi De to be so aggresive in forcing Shu Yi to listen to him and change his mind so he will want to sleep with him. Initiating an intimate scene forcefully like this, even if he initially just wanted to make him listen, then trying to imobilize someone and not let him free himself from his hold and even covering his mounth , not matter the reason, not matter if the person forced decided to get along with him and stop struggling, visually for viewers is seems not right, it make you feel uncomfortable. I`m not saying everyone will feel like this, but this scene can make viewers very easily don`t care for Gao Shi De anymore and don`t want to continue watching the drama or change the overall impression the drama will let on people . If this was a movie, i could be able to continue watching, if Gao Shi De would have given a logical reason of why he acted like this or if i liked how they concluded this scene, as movies are shorter and manage to tie things more artistic and quickly. But this is a drama, viewers still has more eps to watch. In my opinion even Tharn Type season 1 handled the problematic scenes better . As you said in the novel we get to read the toughts of Shu Yi and in the drama we can spot when he respond to Gao Shi De. i can see the moments he struggle to not respond to Gao Shi De, as he is still angry with him, and i can see at the end he starts responding to Gao Shi De, but you have to understand that by the time that part is showed it don`t matter anymore, the impact was made, i already changed my good impression about Gao Shi De. The problem i have with that scene, is not Shu Yi resisting at the beginning but how forceful and aggessive Gao Shi De is, he is acting like some sexually harrasers i saw in other dramas, is hard to like him as before. Not matter what the interpretation the production team has and wanted to show to viewers by filming this scene, they should have considered how it could be interpreted by the majority of the fans. How the aftermath of scenes like this are handled are also really important. When scenes like this happens between the characters, for viewers to accept and understand the intention in having the characters have to film that scene, they should at least discuss about it, at least shown one of them beng angry, punch him, slap him so the other understand what he did is not right and properly discuss that he shouldn`t never do that again. I don`t have anything against problematic intimate scenes, i am an adult, i really enjoy dramas similarly with this, but that writing make things worse and i really think it wasn`t necessary. I am one of the early watchers of bl dramas and movies, from the period from when BL MOVIES made by Japan like Takumi kun series started to get popular and have appeal to international viewers. I have watched almost all bl dramas and movies made and a lot of them, had scenes like this, especialy since in the past were much frequent, and i do find this scene was filmed careless and without a clear direction and vision, as if they left the actor just do what he wanted. It make me hate Gao Shi De, just because of that scene, it`s a big deal, and it shown how poorly filmed this couch scene is.
No, you`re right, i think people who watched enough bl dramas and movies with consent issues like this will be able to understand the majority of viewers who wrote comments similarly with yours. I will also send to you the comment i also send to enigmatic_zephy, as i did read some otehr comments to him and i think he/she is a resonable person. I think why people are so bothered by the coach scene and me too, is because we don`t think is necessary for Gao Shi De to be so aggresive in forcing Shu Yi to listen to him and change his mind so he will want to sleep with him.

His channel has some really wonderful news and photos of the actors from Winner is King and Immortality also.
