Someone recommend me something just like this or better, I'm literally in depression cause I still can't find…
okay, as a person who definitely relate to you what you need is some quality production and a mature drama *these dramas are all very good on their own so pick one depending on your mood and I'm sure you'll not regret! --
- When The Camellia Blooms (family, romance, comedy, drama, healing, motherly love, *and a bit thriller*) - The Red Sleeve (but I saw you already watched this one) - Prison Playbook (it isn't romance centered, but it was top-notch dark-comedy, healing and very uplifting) - Another Miss Oh (romance, comedy, drama, high on emotions!!) - Go Back Couple (romance, comedy, drama, tearjerker) *def recommended - It's Okay To Not Be Okay (romance, life, character development, mental health and some thriller) - Jealousy Incarnate (romcom, life, family, wild and great acting from Jo Jung Seok, crazy chemistry) - Love To Hate You (fast-paced romcom *might get you out of kdrama slump! mature romance, 10 eps only!) - My Unfamiliar Family (life, drama, romance, mature! *beautiful cinematography) - The Tale of Nokdu (saeguk, cross-play, romance, hilarious comedy on first half, gorgeous shots!, delicious tears!) - The Worst of Evil (if you like noir genre, weak romance but great acting and cinematography)
i think it's very unfair that she was accused of that and when it's just first two episodes...i read the comments and saw other drama viewers commenting that because this is my first life took a different approach. it's hard to claim plagiarism especially on dramas when tropes are very common, but the heart of the writing differs..
Is this drama about a serial murder case or lots of different cases within the 16 episodes?
it's mixed there are really good cases, but the main plot is about serial murder case and the FL finding her sister. I'm not particularly wowed with the serial murder arc, but it's decent and this one has found family trope, and the character dynamics is very very fun which I believe are its greatest points
the way I was so sure that ji chang wook would get a baeksang nomination for this role...anyway, really loved…
before someone come at me saying this is a noir genre -- the emotional punch that I wanted was similar to the scene of Bibi and his butler -- because that scene was 11/10 good. and for a drama that ends with an emotional confrontation caused by betrayal, won't it benefit more if the relationship behind the actions were properly built? instead of something the drama clearly shied away than it supposed to do?
the way I was so sure that ji chang wook would get a baeksang nomination for this role...anyway, really loved the acting here! marvelous.
though, I'd admit that this drama became underwhelming for me esp the ending because the emotional punch was not there, and I still believed it would benefit more if the relationships were properly built. still a good watch tho!
no hate to the drama, it seems well loved and well received -- but, what's the problem with every kdrama writers to always include a serial killer?? like....is that the trend now? before we have mother issues and now...serial killers in literally almost every drama even if it's romcom. some dramas can blend it well, and some are better without it.
just learned that after touch your heart he has always been booked for thriler (the only romance he had was Tale of the Nine Tailed) — read somewhere that he hopes to get out of the dark roles and well, hope he really does get something more uplifting once in a while (bad and crazy was funny tho).
