so i used to agrree with a lot of you but i went back and rewatched it and it's s\way better than i remember the execution wasn't bad at all and i am positive there's a lot of queer subtext besides the obvious. i'm kinda sad it went over my head the depth of it but i was also drowning in self loathing. this is a short drama but there's a loooooooot of deep pain in it and it doesn't say what we think it does at all. i guess 4 years passing and so much happening in life really puts things in perspective but the message isn't gangnam beauty or true beauty they both failed to do wwhat this attempted to set out to do and it subverted our expectations in a way those could not and they actually had a person who is, unfortunately, seen as lesser despite her immense skills in all. i cried a bit i'm really so surprised at how much more strong of a piece this looks like now from 25 to 29 and i'm curious to see what KSG thinks tbh since it is personal for her in a way
i have to admit a lot of it was because i was not fucking paying as deep attn as i shoulda last times bc i thought it was a lot more shallow but with a pandemic and sadness u know u have more time to slow down. glad i did and it was very well written for what is eessentially a 3h romcom

it is and nothing is a 10 for me so i guess a .5 is auto-docked but bc of my high standards im fuckin snobby so seeing a 7 im like (squints) DUBIOUS. pickng stuff is hard lmao it's like word of mouth, your judgement, what you can garner from reviews, and to see if it's worth it in the end if the pitfalls are as bad as they seem or could be watchd through. if it's somethign completely new. if i wasnt a fan of the director of school nurse files and came in sorta blind and saw a 7.4 i would probably overlook it for a while before it's beautiful face found me. it's so hard to be a human u__u
school nurse files hands down. it's amazing beautiful thoughtful production and cinema. i'm so surprised it's at a 7.4 (well i'm not surprised and it doesn't matter for enjoyment but that is a terrible rating and it sucks cos even for me i wont rly delve into things below an 8 or it seems likt it woudl affect it) but if you're a fan of films and socialist ideals you will love it

special labor inspector jo shoudl be higher if you haven't seen it think avengers social club which is at an 8.6 and it should "at least" have that. this goes along with the ratings and word of mouth thing as well though.

the ending spins me around too much bc i think the drama is really great but that littlebit im like guhgaosgi not in a bad way it just makes me have to think a lot. the show did a lot with this sorta gender bender or whatever thing but it was never trying to answer for it and i really loved that so i wish it would have been kep tmore nebulous so im purely talking in terms of tone and theme bc of the ~meaning~ behind it and what i am no doubt sure of is you know
