Yu Zhen seems very confused by it all, and so am I. And why did Shi Lei have that (wet) dream? The chemistry between…
yea that was a red flag sayign "i dont care" and then him just up and leaving. if the writers are good, which i honestly think they are competent at least, they would stick with the consistent theme of at least this dude is toxic (AT LEAST) sicne gang nor jyz want him there either and he (yz) said he has a bad feelings. everything he is doing is soooo textbook manipulator it seems. dont trust that bitch!!! but he is def at least charming them to what degree of success idk
ngl if he was a decent person id just root for a polyam scenario LOL
same even if it isnt my cup of tea (cos theyd be croot even if it sounds like a nightmare like can u imagine the logistical nightmares...but some positive ones too hm anyway i digress) but since he's shady and cant be trusted he needs to be run out of taiwan ascrap rocky
u make a really good point. i really enjoyed the episode but why /now/ with everything else ahead? it's like they…
yea i think it's not lack of prowess on the cast and crew (except they definitely all need to have a talk on what makes their works polished and it rhymes with better editing but that's a minute complaint from me) and more of the structure like you said. i remarked that they do a lot of "show not tell" and that's good but then they also 1. don't explain further when they need to or have better more solid visual/auditory cues 2. explain further way after the fact when we could understand what we saw
it's put little bits and pieces in and it does so well but at the expense of understanding where the story can/should go. i guess that's a positive for some of us who are approaching it through the way they made it. like the episodes are going through the motions and there's threads and times when it is very very engaging but what about overall? i wasn't bored but i can for sure say "nothing has happened" in these eps and technically they haven't. they approached it in pieces it seems like but it just didnt have a strong enough foundation. to me it's like a meandering slice of life with romantic elements and it's very cute, tranquil, enjoyable, and, yes, boring. lol so as the storyline is pushed further and we get closer to the end you expect certain things but....
it makes me wonder if they wrote it with more time in mind. from the editing i don't think they've filmed more than cut things out (i'm pretty sure they haven't) so i wonder what the issue here is. there's plenty of competent production and i don't think the writing is bad but what was their goal in the first place? or did they just think they could do all they wanted via ascript and underestimated just how important timing is (like did they write a 100 pg script even knowing that it should really only be 30 pages for each ep? or what?)
my fav eps were this one and i think ep 9 which both had the most emotional things going on and the most story momentum...sigh. and a rushed ending will really...well i wont feel like my time was wasted it just doesnt feel right. somethign is amiss!
Okay let me start first by saying that I might be in the minority but I loved this ep! I felt that things actually…
i think there's the ppl who want them to be together (we all do) and those watching it just to watch lmao idk. i'm fond of what's happened in the way that i /genuinely/ enjoy it. i dont know if that matters but i can say that it does make it better and think there are tons of things that make it right even in its mistakes. but since it is a romance drama it makes sense when people dont feel like they delivered on it. i feel like the world they created is loving enough and easy to consume so i feel the same way you do. it's usu hard for me to say that i genuinely 'love' episodes of thse shows. but i do.
i think the ex is a lying bitch who is manipulating and if not then lol but i do think it's intentional tbh bc honestly the way he talked about what happened was like....so annoying? i found myself flalling for him but i dont trust it!!!
also lol @ hank i'm dead. i do think that there's some confusion about JYZ and him moving forward and to that i say: why? because i enjoy the show but dont take it too too seriously i haven't let it linger in my head too long about their issues with communication etc but we're with them for such a limited amount of time and i feel like we're carried enough through the plot enough that some of us don't have to look at it too much. but considering that time moves regardless, we should get more of an insight as to what, exactly, is making him continuously petrified. or holding them back. either of them. i dont know anymore! idek what im saying lmao
One more drama where everything will be rushed at the final episode in 20 minutes. It sucks, it's a good one,…
"deserves better than a fast end" yea i agree. genuinely think it has some great merits from a production standpoint so if there were plenty of eps left and if we didn't already have...time restrictions. our brains are thinking it's like 24m left after ~5 hours of material.... if the end is fast than i'll feel like more time was wasted even thugh i don't feel like the ride was wasted (if that makes sense.) it deserves to finish as fully as they made this world or let us get involved...can they? :(
Yeah, this show got outright stupid about three eps ago and now continues its downward slide. I hate when scripts…
nah i'd beat his ass but clearly their brains. i dont agree about the production (which is a good thing for me ssince it makes sense why he's still there) but yea like the min this man came in....nah lol. the dude sucks so damn bad i'd scream if he was around ugh fuck and honestly as SL (who is sort of forced to be a sitting duck) i wouldn't trust him either lol but i guess these are my trust issues.
stop cuz this comment perfectly explains how i’m feeling like i just don’t even care anymore?? my brain just…
it tells us to float away and deal with it which is great cos i dont even do that for anything in my own life!!! but god the waiting...it's gonna be sad if we neve get to see them together again too ;0;
honestly, thank god this show is ending next week cuz i cant keep doing this cliffhanger shit. after this show,…
i just started watching for no reason when so very few people were and i wasl ike whatever this wont be something i care about nor do i have to hold on or care every wee but nah here my ass is. waiting. lmao. fuck it
I loved this episode. But before it came so many where literally nothing happened and it's a bit frustrating,…
u make a really good point. i really enjoyed the episode but why /now/ with everything else ahead? it's like they have some really solid stuff but have inserted it into the wrong places. or maybe they even wrote with something longer in mind; i really do not know. it has all the ingredients to be really good and when it gets there it does but at the expense of a build up that isn't there i guess? idk lol but yea my thoughts exactly like it works but why NOW. makes you wonder what they are waiting for within production
quick someone get them some xanax
