i understand what you meant! i think for the shaman that still applies though. men (who seem to be the lead showrunners here) tend to think there's one woman in a gaggle of women who is truly or mostly free under patriarchy. their interpretation is usually making us nefariously ravenous or almost always tied to their sexuality. but every single one of these women /is/ shackled in different gradations. so i don't disagree on the surface but that power can still be revoked at any moment and particularly if she crosses too much of a line. i'm not sure if they highlight that illusion. but i don't think we are necessarily disagreeing lol. if i was any of them id kill myself tbh
