well i'm black american and second gen african so and i never thot that, never saw got, and i'm not into any of that type of fantasy unless it is like spec fiction lol my b tho for incorrect usage of the term. i meant hybrid in terms of anachronism; fusion which AoS definitely had (the song that was performed that was oh my girl, the hairstyles, ways of talking) and that mr. queen had by necessity (dancing to blackpink and twerking, the food, gender stuff) because of the character being from the present going to the past.

i'm only saying this cos it frustrates me from a production standpoint and audience member to split it up.
i get the production thing, having to entice people to come back but they should have waited until the next ep for this whole set of scenes OR cut it (the episode) off at him leaving after the first kiss. the pacing might be a bit off for that but it packs a better punch. i have a feeling they are going to replay the beginning of that series of scenes and then transition into when they talk/patch it up which is lazy.
but otherwise it's frustrating to have this whole thing and then still go back to the same setting with no progression. it's not even necessarily a cliffhanger. it's so fucking annoying because they are WORDS that just don't come out. another idea could be to end it while they kissed the second time OR EVEN just when team asks him that question. that way, we can have the circularity without it seeming like a stall because of a lack of material or time. or have them talk finally and start crying and then ending it when team says the thing about his fears. why am i doing this for them.. you know what i'm going to stop proposing alternate (better) ideas bc then it'll just bug me even more lmao
