I mean in a more thoughtful show it would matter more lolz i think it’s great to have band posters actually cos music tells us a lot abt someone as does their room but, you know. I think their rooms are decently decorated if not a little generic but those are some of my fav bands of all time so im biased lol

i think for their (winteam) rooms they detailed it decently especially the contrast between the posters on the back of their walls but since there's a bit in the book about a song they listen to together they probably shoved that in there without thinking about it even though that's actually very easy to fix . to be fair they're amazing bands. well not ac/dc but the bands on his wall. also the people who are watching this...a lot of them do not know radiohead or arctic monkeys or oasis like that think nirvana is the most ubiquitous imagery but certainly not radiohead

some of it is superfluous for sure and i skip around but it's cute and an easy watch. even if the side couples don't necessarily make sense, it's kind of nice to see college kids just do stuff and the main characters relationships with each other. also all the fuck yous made me laugh loved that. also i mean the main-main characters bc it's weird and detracts from the overall thing sometimes. frankly i think they just didn't film enough at first idk that and probably being able to market the other pairings. ANYWAY

their relationship progression is the best, and most interesting, part and what i am watching for and i'm actually pretty satisfied on that front and i actually think it's getting better and as we go along the acting is so much better, damn. i love the way they talk to each other and feel about each other and their connection and a liiiitle bit too much reliance on e/o but not so bad that it makes them forget everyone else it's great thank u

good points! also fun fact the term 'emotional labor' was used to describe what women go through in the workplace in regards to labor, which is the core issue on the left that we want to tackle, and having to perform on the job. TH isn't a woman, and has many extreme advantages bc of that, but we could apply it to having to perform after grief. i know labor issues are a bit better in the world over outside the US but not by much (hence DJ's dad saying it's hard to be young and work and boy is it lol i'm TH's age). th would have to go back to work and be 'on' all the time, perform optimally, just pretend. hes not dying inside from loss. i guess i was distracted by him in the rain breakup scene cos i didn't even catch what she said. i can't blame her necessarily because she just doesn't know but it doesn't matter at that point. you have to try to. and it would have been just awful if they stayed together.

i think everything you said makes sense and he probably enjoyed being needed but it just doesn't serve him anymore because grief takes away your own ability to control your life. sometimes it's like is it even worth it to be alive if people die? people i love pass? why bother with anyone? and he's been flat; not happy or sad, which is a form of being depressed, just coasting. also TH would NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER tell her she reminds him of his mom LMAO she does take care of him but because they take care of each other not out of some womanly motherly duty (gag).

also one of my all time favorite moments of any drama of any kind cross-gender or same-gender has my fav moments. in ep 5 when she's on his back and he's piggybacking her and they're messing around she starts to scream from happiness and they're both laughing and it's one of the sweetest things i've ever seen and we don't even see their faces. there was so much fun and joy and happiness and enjoying each other's presence, esp bc of the conversation where he basically told her he understands and knows her. that's when i knew they were SPECIALLLL

i agree! honestly she really deserves to be happy even with all the dumb shit because she's not callous; she's controlling, $ does make her entitled but that's okay if you work on it, and mostly just... pathetic. she looks AWFUL and it's like...please don't do this over a man. she's never had constant peace or happiness and she is a sad, sad girl. she deserves to have her mother out of her life and to form healthy rships with other people, but mostly with herself.

i honestly cannot begin to wrap my mind around the fact that someone cannot understand, no matter how upset the partner is, or how in fucking love they were, that the reason that their relationship ended was because their partner's loved one died. i just can't understand it lmao

it isn't sad but also you can just watch up until 19. i barely touched the last ep. it doesn't bother me completely but it's not sad because you can appreciate what they were at least trying to do. but it's worth it (lol sry this is 3 months later)
