people are big mad for no reason cos i think they let the fact that it's the first of its kind (for this country at least not for like SK or japan..so ...) cloud their judgement then everyone comes to a consensus and decides that it means something bigger than it is; dissent in the comments is een as singlehandedly ripping it away from all of us women who like women as if these tv shows could end discrimination. but that's not how life works and that is not how you judge a piece of work. people don't need to keep their mouth shut unless they're being homophobic misogynist pieces of shit. you weren't. so
anyway, you're not wrong; it's pretty flat. it's also just (so far) not stellar wrt acting, story, prodcution, and i think a lot of it is their ages too. 'stalker', another thing previously done by idol factor and produced by saint, was a nightmare to watch and is another example of a not-that-revolutionary show suddenly becoming, in the drama zeitgeist, like an extremely transformative work (it isn't.) idk the whole thing is off but so was scoy. anyway dont sweat these people
i didn't love it i think i'm 2 old for the tone and it's hard watching them play dress-up but becky is so adorable oh my god. i want to see looknam's face too so i'll check it out as it goes further along cos what i've seen in the trailers of just them 2 looks promising. to be fair i also skip 90% of other shows where the romance is the main draw for me. also extremeeeely didnt like scoy. here for the gorls tho, as always
