it's a tv show filmed with a bunch of kids and way less $ than a lot of us are used to for production so 1, they're teens also suspend your disbelief and it isn't a national or professional team (also fat people can, and do, swim; i was one of them on my HS team when i was a lot bigger). 2: like i said before production is expensive and people have oher work and it is hard to schedule it. operating on a whole other time structure at the mercy ofpeoples jobs, weather, what days it's possible to film. they have to feed and house whole crews while traveling too.
3: i know what you mean but this is a fucked up mindset that i have to get rid of as well. cos i thought the same. but people have acne like that, it's ok. it's a shame because i'm sure he'll see comments like that esp bc of his makeup but . he's also young as hell lol. but the makeup for him is rly....bad but i think bc his face is probably so dry that's how mine used to look on accutane. like god i'd be pissed

i agree with you with regards to the opening! it might be my age, or our age, and the drama (at least i felt) is a bit darker but they ARE in high school so you're right it fits.
yea they have bad communication. there's a movie coming out and i'm interested to see what they fix. i think these two characters coudl never reflect reality because i don't think anyone would put up with anything the two of them did to each other. but i do think they could be a good couple to watch grow if written well. it's based off a manga or something though? i think so! there's something about the drama for me but i can't describe it for everything you said. not much goes on either since it's just them and their rship is...a whirlwind. hahaha well at least u didnt waste yr time!

hi! don't worry about the grammar—your english is good :) and i understand what you mean. i actually prefer kiyoi too and i think that's what made me enjoy the show more. it sucks that you didn't like it as much but hopefully you don't feel like you wasted your time! that's the worst
i enjoyed the bg music too which is rare! if you want to tell me more of what you disliked that's fair game too, i always love to see a more critical take on it. hira is a really hard character to penetrate and i think i liked the show so much because i thought it was about kiyoi being shown /through/ hira if that makes sense? so it's like a love letter to kiyoi, who i enjoyed watching and seeing. idk! anyway i can see why people had a hard time liking it.
i don't even remember what quotes i think what i liked was seeing how incongruent hira's picture of kiyoi was like when they are on the bike and hira thinks, "i bet he has a disgusted look on his face" but kiyoi is smiling. i just like that kiyoi was the complete opposite of what he thought, that everything kiyoi did was for hira and he didn't get it. i relate to kiyoi so i think that's a big part of why
i loved koyama's rship with his bro too! even if koyama's char wasn't my fav. and how supportive he was even if he was a little thrown at first. it's nice that the people they knew weren't caring about that. and he also wanted him to get the boy he liked !
