There was also a comment about the ML ci sha having lost weight for this role and i think i also body shamed him by saying though he is already lean but still looked wide when wearing layers of hanfu. Nobody seemed to mind i body shamed him. I still love the ML though.

The ML-FL interaction scenes are honestly so iconic that after watching the ultra-sweet first night scene, I actually had to google what other C-dramas this director has worked on because he seems like such a master at romantic scenes.

I don’t know what his background is, but he definitely knows how to maximize Ci Sha’s strengths — from the moment he first appeared in Episode 1 wearing that black cloak with a cold, calculating aura, to now acting all soft and cute in front of the FL.

What an amazing payoff for all of us who stayed for the slow burn.
