Wasted potential. I can only speak for Kim jiwon ; to go from my liberation notes to this ,it sucks. I don’t know why am holding on to this drama coz typically I would have dropped it but the actors are so amazing individually in previous works so I find it hard to let go. I come here after every episode and a lot of people are praising it and I feel gaslit. it’s not that amazing or extraordinary. It’s cliche with good actors and a flawed plot.
Also I am not irritated or bothered by the villains that’s how I know am not attached to it.

Same , only difference is the acting, Solid actors with a mediocre script. I feel like I would have dropped it but the acting is great so I’ll just keep myself busy

the acting. They r good actors so am okay with watching it plus I have like 1 other drama so am bored. I value acting over the plot sometimes

The thing is I will continue watching this drama but I doubt it will captivate me. Am here for Kim jiwon.

I get that but am complaining about the director and writer choice of portraying it. Like some 2010s kdrama.The scenes are too long and barely watchable . I understand the reason behind their separation and stuff but the writer went in a cliche way to show their progress like they new to dating and don’t have history. I wish I could explain it with video coz it seems like people are not getting me

I feel like u r not getting me. I mean the whole long scenes of them being awkward like the kiss scene with the long music, also when she saw him shirtless.If it was a quick scene with no bgm it would have been better. Why r they making it long and the music ruins the illustration . The last scene in ep 4 was actually good. It was humanized so a + for that

Last week I had an issue with him wanting her dead and now am kinda past it coz it seems like he is genuinely worrying about her but my biggest issue is the writing in their interactions. We have a 3yr old marriage which started with love .Why is writer writing them like a pair who have never been in the same room before? In ep 1 their tension was well done , like they were mean to each other then the ml decided to act all lovey dovey , no problem. But why r the scenes cliche. I understand they r developing feelings for each other but I expect a married couple to be used to each other even if the romance is sour. Some things are natural like witnessing each others bodies or physical touch. It doesn’t have to be sexualized rather a common feeling. Don’t get me wrong, am will still watch it coz the cast is stellar but the writer or director are disappointing me . I would get it if it was a new couple but a married one , they slept in the same bed. I feel like the amount of the times I skip it the less I enjoy the romance.

Not in that sense. Like they act all virginily. The physical aspect should be natural , not fazed by him being shirtless or her kissing him. I can understand having feelings again but at this point aren’t they used to each other’s site.

I wanted to comment that they r frigid and awkward for a married couple especially for 3 yrs. Like that’s too short to act all innocently. I wish kdrama writers stopped using such plots. I don’t want to drop coz it’s has a good casting but the way I fast forward, it’s like I watch it in like 10 minutes. I don’t want to compare but dramas like welcome to samdalri, I enjoyed it coz the main couple had broken up for 8 yrs but they were comfortable with each other. Their dialogue’s were natural and u got to enjoy the romance . Also my liberation notes, that drama made me like Kim ji won a lot. I know the genres are different but it’s still in the kdrama world. MLB had a beautiful development of romance. It got me having hope that we got rid of cliche scenes btwn pairs in kdramas. It sucks to see her going from such a beautiful story to a mediocre show.
Am bored so I’ll give it hope coz the actors have good accolades to their names. I guess I would have found unbearable with bad acting, I still kinda do but I’ll bare with it.

What’s wrong with people? How can people understand him . I get it the family sucks a lot but he signed up for it. Also am sure she was just cold hearted like this. In 3yrs how can u hate your wife to be happy she is dying. For the moment I’ll take it coz it’s dark comedy but I can’t humanize him.

I’ll still watch it coz I knew what I signed up for. But he better have a good arc .

maybe it’s me but I can never wish death on anyone not even my enemy. I always have that sense of karma . I just feel sorry for her now. if the plot was like he is sincerely worried and pities her that’s why he stays, better outcome but this , u have to convince me otherwise. I feel like their hatred is more to do with the circumstances and not their own fault but does he have to hate her to the point of death? Plus if it was a genuine concern their new found love would be stronger cause we would get the arguments which open a lot of past issues and they became better but so far it’s one sided. She is hopeful and am on her side. Kdrama writers need logic sometimes. It’s a good drama but the execution is wrong.

1. I love the FL’s acting. It’s like her conversation or dialogues are organic; so realistic. Plus she has a calm tone to her . I just am captivated by her so if she f**ks up , I’ll ignore it.
2. The chemistry btwn her and the “brother in law” also is wonderfully written. I wouldn’t call them enemies to lovers . The development of their feelings is amazing coz it’s 12 eps .
3.The guy is gay. How r people missing that?

So far it’s not cheesy or cringe. Am enjoying this in my kdrama drought session.

I kinda dig the dark theme plus the fl being a complete bitch who looks out for herself. I didn’t expect much but so far it’s been good.

she won’t get a redemption arc more like karma will catch up to her . like it’s already in the process
