Does anyone know why Mydramalist doesn't include trailers for some dramas, I find it annoying that I'm forced to watch the trailer from Youtube, how hard can it be to include it like IMDB & similar websites.

no, you can watch this right away.

Oh man, after 4 days this is what you came up with, but I liked this part "very short and precise and particular" hahaha. anyway, read your own comment one more time and you'll know who's on a defensive high.

It is baffling to me how many people defend this nonsense.
One person says they didn't like it and everyone flocks to defend the show and say what a masterpiece it was for the 100th time, then when I agree with the OP, they say what am I even doing on this page (Like their daddy made this page and they have exclusive rights to it, LOL), I've never seen double standards as much as on this comment section.

And here you can see a previous comment I made about a few of reasons I didn't like it:

And please, pretty f... please with cheese on top, don't tell me what my problem is, I'm not interested. 🤣

play nice, don't offend real people because they don't share the same opinion as you about a drama.

Well, I have watched many kdramas and I didn't like it either. I understand where the OP is coming from, the story is boring to him/her as it was to me.

Weak Hero Class 1, had a logical, well-crafted story, as well as great action.
One Piece, a Japanese show had both a good story and actions that fit the story too.
Rurouni Kenshin movies had a logical story too; yes, the fight scenes were not logical, but the choreography of the fights was so beautifully done and the speed and precision of the fights were so mind blowing that it was quite a delight to watch.

Ga Min in this series mostly relied on his uncle's forbidden techniques to win the fights, without them even the fights were not that impressive (I know I'll probably get a lot of hate for this statement, LOL).

For an action drama with an illogical, nonsensical story and with dumb characters all around to have above-average fights scenes as well, is it any wonder that some of us find it boring.

I love the title of your review lmao. I completely agree with you, and it was sooo hard for me to take a lot of…
What can you do? apparently it's a growing trend where audiences prefer mindless escapism over though-provoking content and they praise everything as being a masterpiece (everything can be considered a masterpiece by this standard, LOL).

I haven't read the webtoon, maybe I would've given it a chance if I hadn't watched this drama, but there's no way I'll even go near it now, LOL.

I Initially wrote this review as a comment because I was so frustrated with that finale. I received several responses, didn’t bother replying, though-didn't want to waste even more time arguing over this train wreck.

This wasn't written well enough to be a proper review, but I posted it here anyway, hoping it may help someone avoid wasting their time.

If you didn't like the show that is your prerogative. Bit please, don't troll the rest of us. Thank you
We're simply stating our opinion on the show and you call it trolling, LOL.
What's funny is that so many on mydramalist believe those who don't like something should just shut up and let the ones who love it hype it up

I bet, it's impossible to ever see a comment that says: if you liked it, that's your prerogative, but please don't troll the rest of us, just keep it to yourself. 🤣🤣🤣

someone saying they dislike a show and better yet, even giving reasons for their dislike will help the ones trying to figure out whether to watch it or not.

If I had seen a comment like this, I would've given it a second thought and would decide not to watch it, but when every single comment is positive, of course I'll get fooled into watching it, even if it's not the kind of show I'll like.

and it's ironic that people say we're entitled to our opinions but when we proceed to share our opinions, they say we should've kept it to ourselves. 🤫🤫🤫

After seeing everyone hype this up and giving it such a high score I went and watched.. and I was rather surprised…
I also got fooled by the hype, and by the fact that there was no "supernatural" tag, for me it was 6/10 by the end.

I'm sorry but complaining about Yu Ga Min being dumb has got to be one of the dumbest complaints I've seen. This…
I'm sorry, but just because the writer slaps a "he's dumb" label on the character doesn’t mean you have to turn off your own brain and accept every plot hole like it's gospel. It’s not like he has a traumatic brain injury or a congenital disorder—his brain is clearly functional. He has Spatial Intelligence and Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence, meaning he has strong awareness, reflexes, and coordination. So sure, he's bad at studying, but that doesn't mean he should be completely incapable of basic reasoning.

I get it, we all have strengths and weaknesses. I suck at memorizing things but excel at math. My friends are great at some things and bad at others. But this guy? He’s not just weak in one area—he’s a walking black hole of common sense. There is no reality where someone with a fully developed brain is this clueless in every aspect of life. And don’t even get me started on that final fight. We saw that he could end it quickly, but no—he has to hold back while his friends get their asses handed to them and his teacher is in danger. Because, you know, drama. Who could have possibly foreseen that the bad guy might have backup waiting? Not our boy Ga Min, that’s for sure.

Honestly, defending this nonsense is more impressive than the nonsense itself. You’re telling me I should just accept every illogical decision because "it's a shounen adaptation"? That’s like saying a car with no wheels is fine because "well, it’s a car." And oh, the irony—you bring up wuxia dramas like that’s some kind of gotcha, yet somehow miss the fact that wuxia, as a genre, is built on intricate storytelling and actual intelligence in strategy and martial arts. But sure, let's pretend this show belongs in the same conversation.

You want to enjoy it? Go ahead. But don't act like pointing out massive, gaping plot holes is somehow unreasonable. Some of us prefer not to check our entire brain at the door just because a writer decided "he's dumb" is an excuse for lazy storytelling.

Just because other people's preferences don't align with yours, doesn't mean they have trashy tastes and yours…
Since you say I’m entitled to my opinion, why did you even bother responding? I just said I don’t like it—some people are going to agree with me, just like others love it. But why is it that if I don’t like something, I should keep my opinion to myself, while those who love a drama can hype it up as much as they want?

And since when does logic have anything to do with being "classy"? I never called anyone’s taste trashy. I love action dramas—I loved Weak Hero Class 1. I enjoy cool fight scenes too, and the fights in Rurouni Kenshin (both the movies and anime) were amazing. I’m not against anime-style movies or dramas. The problem isn’t the style—it’s that this story had zero logic. They barely even tried with the writing (lazy storytelling at its finest), yet somehow, this drama is sitting at the top alongside actual masterpieces that required immense effort in writing, directing, and production.

And that’s the real issue—if something this half-baked can get such high ratings, why would any writer bother putting in the effort to craft a logical, intelligent, well-thought-out story? When fanboys inflate ratings so much, how is anyone supposed to tell the difference between a genuinely great production and just another overhyped, mediocre story?

You're right that it comes down to our preferences, but there wasn't any supernatural tag, so I didn't know what I was getting myself into, and I took a look at the comment section before deciding to watch, seemed like either everyone loved this or only those who loved it commented, I didn't even see one negative comment, so I decided to watch it, and I tend to finish a drama when I start it especially since this wasn't very long.
Well, it's over now, hopefully "WHC2" will soon be out, I loved that one.

These days the rate every superficial drama as 9, there was a time true masterpices got this rating, Nirvana In Fire, Joy of Life and My Mister are 3 such masterpicies with intelligent writing and great execution, hell, Story of Ming Lan has a rating of 8.8, how can this childish, superficial story be on par with them? And then when we express our opinion that we didn't like it, some say they don't understand the negative reviews, well I don't understand the positive reviews, but even though I don't understand it, I know they're entitled to it and so are we, are we not allowed to say we didn't like it, talk about double standards.

Did I just watch what everyone else watched—I really need to stop choosing what to watch based on this website’s ratings. There’s absolutely no logic to anything in this drama, and the last two episodes were the worst of it all. Even if it had a supernatural tag, it still wouldn’t have been worth watching.
If Yun Ga Min was supposed to be a superhero, then at least give him some redeeming qualities besides his physical strength and martial abilities. He’s easily the dumbest character I’ve ever seen. I don’t even think it’s worth pointing out the countless illogical things that happened, but I’ll mention a few just so people don’t think I’m just ranting for no reason.

Spoilers ahead, don't read if you haven't finished the drama

First, the writers made the antagonist ridiculously powerful, while the protagonists—especially Ga Min—only had their fighting skills. And if you combined all their intelligence, they still wouldn’t be as smart as Pi Han Ul, who had everything under control… until the final episode, where he somehow lost just because the writers decided he had to.

Ms. Lee had no abilities at all. Her intentions were good, sure, but you don’t win fights with good intentions alone. I won’t even go into the earlier episodes—just in the last two, she had no idea what to do, constantly got into trouble, and was magically saved by students exactly when she needed help. Meanwhile, the cop was completely useless and got tasered. Hilarious.

And what was the point of Episode 9? First, the characters were totally lost and had no idea how to respond to anything. Then, just by reuniting, we were apparently supposed to believe they overcame all their problems? They had no actual plan to defeat their opponents. The episode just ends with them walking together while dramatic music plays. Am I supposed to think, "Wow, the gang is back! Now these capable—sorry, useless, brainless, naïve—students are going to kick some ass"?

Then in Episode 10, Ms. Lee knows how dangerous the situation is. There’s only one cop as backup against a bunch of experienced fighters, and yet she just walks into the school as if that’s a totally reasonable thing to do. Hey lady, these people are murderers. You don’t know how to fight. The cop alone can’t handle them. You have no backup plan. How dumb do you have to be to just walk in like that? Oh, right. Plot armor. The writers won’t let anything happen to you.

Ms. Lee, as the adult, is supposed to protect the kids. But instead, she runs away and leaves them to fight for her. You start this whole thing to protect the students, yet when it comes down to it, you just abandon them? Contradictory much?

Now let’s talk about the so-called fight scenes in the last 2 episodes. Every protagonist is getting their ass kicked.
One of them gets stabbed but somehow becomes stronger and wins the fight, even though he was no match for his opponent before.
Then two others, who were also getting destroyed, suddenly win just because they start fighting together. Um, 2v2 is the same as two 1v1 fights? And it’s not like they’ve been training together for years and have perfect coordination. They study together. How does that translate to fighting better as a team?

Then there's Kim Se Hyeon, the biggest joke of them all. This guy didn’t know how to fight at all, but after learning a few things, he suddenly beats an experienced fighter? Oh, so that’s how it works. First, endure an ass-beating. Second, memorize your opponent’s vital points (because, apparently, experienced fighters aren’t aware of their own weak spots and won't dodge against them). And third, use the motherf— knuckle punch. Wow. What an incredible shortcut. Who needs years of training when you can just use these three steps to beat anyone?

And finally, the worst fight of them all. Why does the main character never go all out? He gets beaten, injured, and only then decides to use one ridiculous technique to win. Dude, all your friends are in danger. You’re the strongest among them. If you can finish this guy in under a minute, do it and go help your friends and teacher! But no, of course not. He has to make it dramatic. He has to send the message that he’s an amazing fighter but "chooses" not to use his full strength, chooses not to harm them unless he is forced to. Meanwhile, it never even crosses his empty head that his opponent might have backup plans.

Honestly, I could go on forever, but I won’t waste more of my time on this train wreck. I believed the hype and kept watching, hoping it would get better. I knew I shouldn’t take it seriously after seeing that fourth-floor window jump, but come on—there’s a limit to how much disbelief one can suspend.

Well, it's good that she comes to that realization, as for the historical setting, you're right, she can't openly go against them, I'll keep watching in the hopes she'll come up with some schemes against them and puts them in their place, if they were strong opponents I wouldn't mind watching, but her stepmom uses stupid petty tricks, I don't want so much screen time to be wasted on these scenes.

I know, and I don't expect this FL to be good in martial arts or to kill people, I was mostly hoping for her attitude to be more aggressive, she's intelligent, so if she really wanted, she could deal with them easily, but she just lets them say and do whatever they want.

Well, I judged her too soon, I'm watching episode 12 now, and she realizes that she's not decisive enough and decided to be more determined and strike first instead of being controlled by others, that is exactly what I expected, I didn't like to see her waste her intelligence and let them get away with everything every time.

I've only watched 11 episodes so far, but I'm really annoyed by Duo Zhao's stepmother and uncle, they're not even that capable, especially the stepmother, but why is the FL taking such a passive approach in dealing with them, she just lets them say and do whatever they want, does her behavior get better, I was hoping she would be the kind of FL who doesn't take any shit from anybody, but she seems very passive.
Before this drama, I was watching "A Journey to Love", and that's probably why this FL seems weak in comparison.
