Some great actors totally wasted older FL just spent the whole time doing rabbit in the headlights and pretty nothing else.

Bit of an Anorexia advert as usual, very very thin girls stuffing themselves whilst everyone praises them for eating so well....

I know I watched quite a few episodes desperately hitting ff to try and find a good bit but nah. Hoping Mrs Parks Marriage thingy takes the concept and at least makes it funny.

Durian's Affair I was intrigued and looking forward to it but just fizzzzzzzzzzzzled in no time like nothing happened for ages and all the chaps were creepy McCreepfaces - never mind the rejuvenated grandma story!

I love this one, watched it a few times now - the FL is a bit plastic but the show is fantastic!

14-sai no Haha, Holyland, Kimi Wa Petto (2003), Orange days, Last Friends, Daisuki!!! and of course Mother
Some off my favourites! I'd chuck in anone as well - which is I think 2018 and is very good.

14-Sai and Daisuki!! are sort of slice of an unusual life dramas dealing with family. KWP, O Days and LF are more friends/love stories as is anone really.

Mother is a tour de force which has been copied all over Asia notably (Call me) Mother the K version. It has some amazing performances and some very Japanese moments.

I'd throw in Sera-fuku to Kikanju as well for some bonkers Manga style fun.

My problem with many Doramas is the misogyny and weird attitude to sex - especially with Manga live action thrown in, also many have a preachy air to them and that feel good, everyone is nice in the end thang which robs them of any bite.

So am I... I trawl through old dramas and see if I can find them in watchable condition on a regular basis

Why does it matter we are only 2 episodes in? Also some people will rate it as an average 5 or set it to but not score it whilst 'currently watching' and then change the rating when it's over. The score isn't really as important as your enjoyment.
