I for one love Chi Cheng in this episode and it really shows us VERY CLEARLY that despite Chi Cheng found out about the whole truth, his first instinct was to trust WSW (when he said he is overthinking this), and when he said as long as WSW nod that he did love him(CC) he will let this all go and will forgive WSW(that scene made me cry), honestly it is very clear that Chi Cheng only ever love Wei Wei now....he no longer loves WS and that scene where he goes to him to tell him was the final closure they both needed on their side...
Chi Cheng crying in the car will always be highlighted as one of my fav moments in this episode.
Sorry Chi Cheng, I love you but you really brought out your emotions so well in that scene. That is why I love that scene because I can feel what you're feeling and you made me 😭😭 in that scene too.
This episode was really heartbreaking for me. The fact when after Chi Cheng found out about Yue Yue from WSW's mother and how she told him that they've been in contact and have plans to get back together, omg, another misunderstanding but when Chi Cheng said he must be overthinking this, that really hurts because a part of him still believes in WSW on his side.
Even when he found out about the notebook, he still waited for WSW to come back and give him an explaination, an answer and what REALLY made me cry was when Chi Cheng said to WSW that he doesn't care if he used him in the past, as long as he nod and say he did love him now, he will let it all go and he will forgive WSW on his end...
But WSW was really cruel when he said what he said to hurt Chi Cheng and oh yes he hurt himself too....But I really want to give Chi Cheng a hug in that scene since that was really hurtful coming from someone he loves...
I really cried when Chi Cheng was driving in his car and this is the first time I saw him cry too 💔💔😭😭😭😭😭 Tian did a very good job expressing his emotions in that scene though. That whole break up scene was done very well by both parties...
And YouTube subtitles stopped working in that vital part when Chi Cheng told WS he no longer loves him and that his heart now completely belongs to WSW despite they've broken up now..
I honestly felt like this break up is needed for them to go through that development phase at least now Wei Wei have that weight off his shoulder.. and it is rather sad because when you think about it, what he was afraid of the most in telling Chi Cheng before... would NOT have become like this if he simply was being honest and told Chi Cheng he loved him... as long as he nod, Chi Cheng will forget about all that. Honestly if you look at either perspective both had their faults, from CC perspectives I felt like he had it hard. He's going through a lot right now and when WSW spends private time, even spends a night at WZ house, I can understand why he was upset and mad at WSW.
