I actually came to really love his character in this drama, definitely listed as my favourite character.

I just wish the character beside him is not that woman but Lan Chi instead

They already adapted Fly to the Moon into a drama (Song of the Moon), but sadly the drama story direction and character portrayal was different to the novel (Fly to the Moon).

You know comparing this drama and SOTM at least in Journey of Cong Zi from what I know it didn't completely deviate from the novel. Sure they made changes but basing on the comparison to SOTM adaptation from its novel, this one was at least better IMO.

I'm glad I get to see this version of Wang Yue where he's more of a Grey character.

Let's just say that if they had ended on episode 40 with that ending, I would have been annoyed and pissed off, but considering they had an extended bonus episode 41 showing what happened later, I am happy with the ending for CZ and YF. All I asked for in a Happy Ending where my favourite CP is concerned is to see them alive and happily together. And I got that in episode 41, I was also touched by all the flashbacks they put in that episode as well especially a surprised scene that I thought was deleted... but you see both YF and CZ can get out of that place and go to the mortal realm fine, so looking at this aspect I think it ties in similarly to the novel ending. And I LOVE how Yin Fan calls her in an affection way 娘子 which I see it as in the context of 'wife' when he call her that (it's something subtle but I love that)!😍

The one thing about that ending I didn't quite like was how they had Wang Yue sealed... cuz that didn't make sense to me and I saw that as lazy writing...

I hated Ting Xue so much with a passion that I wanted her DEAD, wish YF killed her to be honest but that ending for her was quite fitting. Glad to see her suffer!!

And I am SO GLAD to see that Min Shixiong that old faggot DIE in the drama!!

I also love how Yin Fan blasted his Min Shixiong when that old faggot wanted to protect his granddaughter (Su Qiu) for what she did to Chong'er .... That blast and what YF said to him was satisfying though!

I did cry when YF sacrificed himself to save CZ from the demon energy in her though.. I didn't think he would do that but on the bright side for me I do like that he couldn't bring himself to want to kill her again, if one of them have to die , he rather that to be him instead of her (I find that romantic).

At least between this ending and SOTM ending, I love and prefer this ending over the drama ending for Song of the Moon. In Song of the Moon they wasted one final episode IMO which is sad seeing how the drama itself already deviated from the Novel (Fly to the Moon), poor Yue(God of Moon) in the novel was so much more than what we got adapted in the drama when they changed it (still bitter about that)😭😭😭

I couldn't watch all episodes last night can only watch up to episode 38 because it was already 2AM by that time.

Finally finished watching the whole drama now, will definitely do up a review in here later the day when I got some time on my hands.

My thoughts on the Ending.

I find its so funny every time when someone ask Wang Yue for help, he will go and say "If you beg me, then I might consider" 😅😅😅

And I'm like what's it with that every time. It felt like he really like/enjoy seeing people beg him or something 🤣🤣

He actually got his own spinoff 'Fly to the Moon' Novel where he is the ML

I also really like Wang Yue too. It appears that no matter what he's selfishly doing to accomplish the end goal I can never bring myself to hate him

He's mysterious, calm and cool , and there are times when I spot how he looks concern and a bit sad as well.

There's an extra episode clip on WeTv showing 9 minutes and Yin Fan and CongZi is together. But there's a time skip of 100 years later

From what I got spoiled in the novel it does follow similarly to the novel ending.

Oh hey guys, the ice prison scene where we thought that specific scene was deleted, well good to know that it was not deleted in the drama but it was included in that special clip in episode 41(flashback). Flashback with all the feels though.

I haven't watched the ending yet. Only up to episode 38. I saw episode 41 Clip and just the beginning of it is already a happy ending to me.

Phoenix tears is cured with Phoenix Blood Antidote in the drama.

The scene when Chong Zi cooked all those dishes and then Zhuo Hao who visited her and was so happy saying that she made all these dishes specially for him(ZH) 😅😅 and then Yin Fan heard that and replied "She didn't especially made this for you" 🤣🤣 lol someone is drinking vinegar here... But ZH expression was so funny lol 🤣🤣

Looks like 41 is a bonus extra. I watched a teeny tiny bit of the beginning to episode 41 and I love what I saw.

You have access directly to those episodes. But you can't download it yet on WeTv. I clicked into episode 41 first but that is like 9 something minutes episode.

All episode Episode up to episode 41 worked. Have also clicked into episode 40 to check and that's a full length episode. So they released all those for Express viewers I guess if they want to watch ahead and not wait.

I didn't want to wait so I purchased it on my end.
