I love what Yin Fan showed me in episode 31 when he told Chong Zi: "Don't leave me again. I don't want anything and I can be a nobody, as long as you stay with me" . He even told her that it is not impossible for him to leave Nanhua for her.

I have always wanted to see in the drama where Yin Fan shows me he chose Chong Zi (as his main priority ) over his responsibilities as the immortal chief and I'm glad I got this moment in this episode. I appreciate this moment that they have.

Even though I am not a fan with what happened to Yin Fan at the end of episode 32, but I won't lie that it was at least a reason that made sense why he couldn't keep his promise to go to her...

I know the upcoming episodes will really frustrate me so I hope that they can effectively remedy the situation when that time comes and not drag it on. I still want to see their happy moments between Cong Zi and Yin Fan before their final battle.

You are in the wrong genre if you don't like age gap. Never go into this genre if it bothers you.

Xianxia is typically for age gap and does it really matter? Age is just a number and they physically look good together anyway and retain their youthful appearance...

In the first life LYF wanted to protect both CZ and the common people but the protecting the common people what's right of his responsibilities as he's the chief of the immortal realm is stronger. But it doesn't mean he doesn't feel the hurt and regret after he have to kill her in that first life (I feel for not only CZ but YF as well because he shows me how much he regretted that action to the point of him discarding that one sword that played a part in killing her)

In CZ second life because of what happened in her first life, and that deep regret he felt when he have to "kill" her the first time, his feelings and love for her had grown stronger and all this time he was struggling between that path of sticking to his responsibilities and the other path which follows his heart where he can just live with her away from his responsibilities , just them living a common life.

Just when he made that decision in the end (in episode 31&32) where he just want to follow his heart and be with her, like he said to her that he can leave Nanhua, he can be a nobody(not the chief of the immortal realm), as long as they can be together. He made that decision and WAS going to stick to it and follow that path but then....

His stupid shixiong have to give him Phoenix tears against his will which made him forget his love for her!!(this better NOT drag on 😫)

If it weren't for Phoenix tears, Yin Fan would NOT have break his promise to Cong Zi and would NOT have hurt her again....

Honestly to me, Yin Fan does have those conflicting battles inside him because of his responsibilities on who he have been all these 1000's of years, he once thought that he can stick to that responsibility and protect CZ as well. But he knew when and have made that decision as we can see where he knows that he can't have both and that choice he made in this time was CZ over his responsibilities. Like he said, he can leave Nanhua for her, he can be a nobody for her. He just want to be with her. And quite honestly I love what he said then to her because that's what I wanted to hear from him, that's what I want to see him choosing only her over his responsibilities....

But what I hate the most is now he have to do something against his will because of the effect of Phoenix tears and I know this is not something he would want to do if he had a choice.

He made that choice to be with CZ already but Phoenix tears made him go against that choice.

I hate Phoenix tears so much . I never understand why that spell was created. It's only serve no purpose but to hurt our hearts like this!!

Good to know that she finds out the real reason was behind Phoenix tears!

ZH can't die and I hope he won't in the drama because if ZH die then how would he get married and have a son to marry CZ and LYF daughter XD

I guess I will have to wait and find out in the drama.

I hope they will remain faithful to the world building in this drama basing off the novel and that we can get our happy ending after all that

Qin Ke told Yin Fan was the right thing to do IMO

Because he knows that the only one who can change her mind is LYF since she's the one she wanted and love.

Qin Ke going there will end up like Zhuo Hao IMO

It isn't only QK and ZH that is working and showing concern for CZ.

LYF did too! He was in seclusion trying to master that heart mirror spell so he is putting his part into this contribution as well... But that spell is not a spell that can be easily achieved.

Especially when Yin Fan is also being affected by these distractions it is a miracle that he didn't go into qi-deviation...

But Ting Xie really need to die a horrible death, I hate her so much, all because she think by doing so she can be with LYF like WTF!

Well they did have that little talk before they left and I think CZ doesn't know the existence of Phoenix Tears for her to predict this will happen. To her, I think she trust that Yin Fan will be able to protect himself when he said he is going back to Nanhua to finish up those unfinished business before they can truly be together.

But I agree that they should clear up those misunderstandings first. I know CZ forgave him but I want her to know the real truth about those misunderstandings....

I wonder if it will ever be cleared up at this point... Like by a third person or something??

Yeah it does make us savor and want to see their sweet moments afterwards after all the pain they have been through but that's only if the writers will give it to us when that time comes.

I don't mind angst that leads into a touching moment. But I'm not going to lie , I have always hated the existence of Phoenix Tears in SOTM, so I didn't like what happened to Yin Fan now. I know I will be frustrated when he's under that spell judging from the trailers 😭😭 but I cant blame him since that's NOT his fault and if he had a choice he would not have want for that to happen. He wasn't even given that choice to make when he was tricked by his shixiong to drink that cup...

He trusted his shixiong but he / they would do that to him! If I was Yin Fan I will kill that old bastard shixiong of his and what makes me mad and sad is I know it's not going to happen...

I just want my happy ending where they can FINALLY be together and happy away from those hypocritical bunch!

Omg I know I am going to be frustrated when that happened in the drama and I really want both his Shixiong to pay for what they forced Phoenix tears against his will....I want him to cut ties with his shixiong... But I think it may not happen sadly...

I can't blame Yin Fan during those times when Phoenix Tears was in effect because I know he wouldn't have done that if he had a choice!

Does Cong Zi ever realized what happened to Yin Fan and that he was fed Phoenix tears? I don't want that to be another misunderstanding added on top of them.

For the side characters that would be sad... I don't want Zhuo Hao dead since I want the drama story building world to be the same as the novel ending...

VZ character Luo Ge in SOTM(drama) can fight it off because of the existence of 'Soul Devouring Spell', that was the main key to defeating the effect of Phoenix Tears. Yes, he was smart to figure it out that these two spells contradict each other and was having an internal battle.

I honestly didnt like that Liu Shao fed Luo Ge Phoenix tears against his will. I hated when that happens. At least for Luo Ge, he let Liu Shao choose and decide after explaining to her what it actually does... But omg the only reason I can forgive Liu Shao for giving Luo Ge Phoenix tears against his will was because it served a purpose to rid the soul devouring spell.

I am disappointed in Yu Du (Qin We Master) for what he did... He could have stopped that from happening. If I was Yin Fan and when I find out later I will never forgive them for what they did!!

And that Ting Xie bitch should just DIE!! This is all her fault too!!!

Wang Yue here is a more likeable character than Jiang Cheng lol

I knew something would have happened to him because I saw the trailer for the later episodes.

But I didn't know THAT was the reason.

I asked for a good explanation why he didn't show up and the writers have to give me the one thing "oh that's good and makes sense why he didn't keep his promise" (but honestly I never liked the existence of THAT spell so I can't say I was happy how it all played out either.

At least in SOTM drama, Luo Ge and Liu Shao had a better communication with each other on the main pair and there's not much misunderstanding.. but then in the other story they didn't have that type of angst the way Yin Fan and Cong Zi does so there are pros and cons

Apparently according to their logic, it seems like you can either get good communication or these type of angst / misunderstanding as it doesn't go hand in hand.

Omg thank you!! Now I can RIP for now and not worry so much! I can't sleep last night because I keep worrying because of Phoenix Tears!

Oh that's another one! I was paying attention to his awkward expression after he heard from Chu Bu Fu that Chong Zi doesn't see him as only her master haha he was so expressive and I won't lie I was paying close attention to see if what he's holding in his hand (where he was reading from) was upside down or not cuz that would be another golden moment lol

The first time I saw the actor was in the Untamed haha.

But Wang Yue is definitely one of my favourite in this drama.

To be honest I'm glad I get to see this side to who he really is because I was disappointed how Song of the Moon drama didn't do Yue (God of Moon) in the novel justice... He was so much more than what we got in the drama that's why for me after learning more about him and seeing a drama version of him that shows me what he's like before Fly to the Moon takes place where he's the ML in that one makes me like and appreciate his character more.

Wang Yue is also so mysterious and I love him as well in that black cloak.

She's not Wang Yue wife since she didn't consumate with him. After that night with Yin Fan, Cong Zi also told one of them to not refer her as the queen (if I recall correctly )

Yin Fan came and took her away before the ceremony can complete itself.

When Yin Fan and Congzi consummate (slept togther) after their passionate kiss, afterwards, we see Cong Zi asked him if they are married now(she was referring to she with Yin Fan), so although it wasn't Yin Fan and Cong Zi wedding night, but what they did is what a married couple would do

For me personally I sure do want to see an official wedding scene between Yin Fan and Cong Zi in the drama before the ending .... Even when we got the current situation happening at the moment ...

I guess I will see when I start on Starry Love. 😂😂
