IT'S A HAPPY ENDING GUYSS I ALREADY SEE THE SPOILER IN TWITTER WOHOOO
I already knew it is a happy ending but I dont want it to end like that, I want it to be an extended scene after this to wrap up the story in a more happier and fulfilling note.
Can you give me a scene in the finale before the credit rolls, where Yuan Qi calls Bai Jue "father"... And Bai Jue carries Yuan Qi in his arm.... and show his love openly this time? Because the fact that I dont get to see their family bliss before the credit rolls, I think I will ๐ญ๐ญ
I saw the snippet to the ending, and I already know it's a happy ending, and it assured me it was, but I want a more happy and fulfilling ending so I am hoping it won't disappoint, after all they've been through... ๐ข don't have it end like that!
I was hoping for an ending similar to TMOPB because that drama ending surpassed the novel ending and made it better. So hopefully this is just a snippet of that part but there's more to it, like an extended scene after this part... I don't think I can live with it without seeing Yuan Qi calling Bai Jue father and Bai Jue showing his fatherly love to Yuan Qi openly...
Found the last ep spoiler clip from Twitter.Link below. I hope it's not the last scene though.
Oh man, I am kinda scared now... I knew its going to be a happy ending but I don't want it to end like this ๐ข๐ข I want an extended scene after this scene though ๐ญ I guess I will have to see when I watch the finale..
Seriously what I hate most is seeing the fandom being divided like this now, because they only see how much Hou…
To me, Qing Mu is Bai Jue the same way Hou Chi is Shang Gu.
I don't like to separate it and see them as different person because I take Qing Mu and Hou Chi is an extension to Bai Jue and Shang Gu's love under a different identity as Qing Mu and Hou Chi without their past memories.
I also don't like it but lets be glad that in the end they never did the 3 bows to make it official and they did NOT consummate their marriage, so to the eyes of the public, it was a wedding that was interrupted thus, not married. They are NOT married to me anway.
Honestly between the two, I actually felt sorry for Bai Jue more because he really did a lot for her and enduring all this pain just to ensure Shang Gu can be safe and happy in the end, so I can never hate Bai Jue on my end.

Some hints I picked up when I watched the whole episode in full context.
What I am going to say now is a guess, but I am leaning it to be a fact, because in episode 39, when Hou Chi went to Bai Jue and asked if he's Qing Mu, he said "no", but he was also the one who asked for the tomb/tablet to be made for "Qing Mu", so my guess is that, Bai Jue, indirectly used that chance to leave the final message for Hou Chi when she goes to that place later and got that final message from "Qing Mu".
Why I said it was Bai Jue? Well, hints really:
(1) In order to hurt her less, Bai Jue can really use indirect methods. He knows what he said have hurted Hou Chi when they met again, but Bai Jue was the one who said to make that tomb/tablet for Qing Mu's death. So this tomb/tablet wasn't there when Qing Mu was "alive", so he couldn't have left that message for her.
(2) When Qing Mu left in episode 38 and became one with Bai Jue, he never planned to leave just like that because you can see there's regret in him, like words he wants to tell Hou Chi and the promise he made to her that he will wait for her, but now he don't get that chance to, so if he was the one who left the message for her, at that place, then he wouldn't look like that (unspoken words he wanted to say to Hou Chi).
(3) Most importantly, Bai Jue was at that scene (that same place) just before Hou Chi went to receive the message. We didn't clearly saw him being the one to leave the message for her, but he was there. And he saw Jing Jian playing Go, and when Jing Jian was saying all that, the way Bai Jue looked at him, was like he's Qing Mu even when he's Bai Jue now.
So it is clear that Bai Jue, have memories of the times he experience as Qing Mu, even though he lied to her, but the thing with Bai Jue right now is, he can really only use 'indirect ways' to show his love for her. Well, I am not saying 100% it's Bai Jue who left that message, but I am getting a feeling it was Bai Jue for all the prior points listed. He can't tell Hou Chi directly, but this is the only way he knew how, hence why he made this tomb/tablet for Qing Mu, goes to that place before Hou Chi receive the message and then Hou Chi receiving the message later.
Honestly if Bai Jue is not so determined to take this path, I do see that he can express his love for Shang Gu the same way Qing Mu can because I have seen it in those times when he expresses it, but that was without Shang Gu knowing it (because she was unconscious) or because she thought it was a dream T^T Bai Jue's love for her is really deep, it is sad that some people dont understand his love and the pain he's going through now...
Some people here ganging up on me for saying I hate Baijue lolol. That's why I said 'at this moment' Referring…
Did you not see that when Wu Huan was doing that to Hou Chi, making her suffer, Bai Jue's hand turned into a fist? He was expressing anger at Wu Huan for doing that to her.... But because he needs to put up an act that he's not Qing Mu, and he didn't want Hou Chi to be involve any further, he can't go soft on his end, and with that said, do you really think he doesn't care if she's being humiliated? Did you miss the part when he spoke up and said "that's enough!" to Wu Huan, telling her to stop? But Wu Huan pressed on and didn't want to let it go....
Ofcourse he didn't want to see Hou Chi being humiliated.... why else did you think he want her to leave that place...!
If you understand Bai Jue, then you should understand the situation that he's in, and the path he's taking, he can't openly do some of the things you want him to do....How great if he could, then it will save everyone this pain....
No one wants to see Hou Chi suffer like that.... but Bai Jue have his difficulties too.... Despite so, he already showed me in that whole scene he felt concerned for her, and he expresses pain too, Hou Chi was hurting but it is ALSO hurting Bai Jue to see her going through all that. So to me, he did NOT just stood there like he didn't care.... Even when he is keeping up an act that he doesn't care, Bai Jue already openly shows his concern for Hou Chi when he flew up, expressing concern to save Hou Chi and to help her regain control. Anyone who actually paid attention will know that Bai Jue was concerned about Hou Chi in an intimate sense. Even Wu Huan and Jing Zhao can see the concern in Bai Jue...
And just right before the sword stab...Tian Qi called her Shang Gu, but for Bai Jue, he calls her Hou Chi still.... and this already reveals that Bai Jue dont just see her as Shang Gu, but Hou Chi as well and he did care for Hou Chi.. the same way Gu Jun came to care for her as Hou Chi, despite he knows shes Shang Gu still...Bai Jue is the same....
I also love Qing Mu and Hou Chi too, and I will always have a soft spot for them, but Qing Mu and Hou Chi to me is just an extension to Bai Jue and Shang Gu's love. If Bai Jue is not so determined to take this sacrificial path and to minimize Hou Chi/Shang Gu's pain in the end result, then I do believe Bai Jue can be similar to Qing Mu in expressing his love because he has shown me he can... so for me, I don't separate it, Qing Mu is Bai Jue, Hou Chi is Shang Gu. Qing Mu and Hou Chi is more free to love because they both don't have memories of their past and responsibilities that tied them back...
Bai Jue and Shang Gu love is more touching to me though because of all they've been through, which makes me love them more.
Do you understand Bai Jue? Well to some extent maybe you do, but your comments and how you judge him shows me you don't understand the situation he's in.
This trailer shows how much Bai Jue/Hei Jue loves her omg. Whoever still questions his deep love for her after…
Ah, yeah, Weibo is the most annoying part when it comes to account login. I struggle with it last time because I can't connect with my Wechat account (but after all the hassle I managed to work around it and do up an account). Not by connecting through Wechat, since that didn't work for me, I think I connect through FB(don't really remember it being a while back), but considering the photos you share is probably more active in Weibo then I am. I just go in there to follow my favourite actors (which I have added Xu Kai to my list since I am not a fan)!

Oh I managed to grab the clip to download it, now I can watch this offline! ๐ I am not active on Weibo hahahaha but good to know that there are decent fans who loves Bai Jue/Hei Jue enough to do an MV on him <3 <3
me too ( T๏นT ). This scene is the cutest. Qing Mu was so happy he didn't even realized she just asked him to…
Oh man! I am so going to watch this whole drama again! I will do this tonight after I am off work, just to see their sweet scenes again!(โงโโฆ) We need another sweet moment between Shang Gu and Bai Jue in the ending..... before we say good bye to this drama ( T๏นT )
It seems there are two group here in this forum. One group believes that pair in love must face everything together.…
I agree that no one should blame either Bai Jue or Shang Gu, because from Shang Gu pov, she didn't know what Bai Jue is doing was all for her. But I just wish that viewers can empathize not only on the female (Shang Gu) side but the male (Bai Jue) side too. Shang Gu misunderstanding Bai Jue, is understandable, because she didn't know, but those who knows Bai Jue's plan and can still blame him or questions his deep love for Shang Gu/Hou Chi, then that's when it's sad to see.
I think in terms of MDL topic discussions, this is the one I am most active on. Before this was in Miss the Dragon Drama haha
I love this up till the female lead sacrificed herself for peace. To me What happened 60,000 years later is a…
To be honest, the second part of the story, is what made me love it even more, despite the angst side of things, it made me appreciate their happy times in the prologue that was presented before the whole sacrifice happened, and yes, it also made me miss their happy times back then, but it also shows how much Bai Jue loves Shang Gu/Hou Chi to be doing what he's doing now for her. I won't spoil the details, but you should keep watching because it's only going to get better(um.... I mean to say.... painful, but still some sweet parts at the same time). If you love a touching love journey, then don't give up this gem imo.
There will never be a definitive answer in terms of who was right or who was crueler. You've covered the points…
Yeah, thank god for that, but prepare for it when you read the novel, cuz, it hurts.... ๐ญI feel even more sorry/sad for him in the novel (and I only start mid-way through to the end)! ๐ญ
I just start this, kinda cute how they call Bai Jue as Ice Cube when he's god of fire HAHAHAHA
Ice Cube is just referring to his personality, i.e. he keeps other people at a distance, and doesn't open his heart easily. His original being is fire, and that's his element. "God of War" is actually one of his title that represents his responsibility/duty as a True God.
while we wait for the raw eps of 47-49let's watch a trailer from the perspective of Hei Jue (i believe this is…
This trailer shows how much Bai Jue/Hei Jue loves her omg. Whoever still questions his deep love for her after all this (then I am done with them). Nice MV too, brings out all the feels/emotions! (T^T)
Qing Mu is SO ADORABLE in this scene! XD. But it's funny at the same time we get to see this version of Bai Jue (since Qing Mu is Bai Jue), that he actually picked flower medicine and gave to Hou Chi as bouquet of flowers, and thought they are just flowers instead (๏พโใฎโ)๏พ, he's so adorable hahaha <3 <3 <3
I saw the snippet to the ending, and I already know it's a happy ending, and it assured me it was, but I want a more happy and fulfilling ending so I am hoping it won't disappoint, after all they've been through... ๐ข don't have it end like that!
And if you can see here, I am not the only one who could understand Bai Jue that way.
Words of advise: You don't need to be 'spiritually connected' to a character to understand them to that extent.
I don't like to separate it and see them as different person because I take Qing Mu and Hou Chi is an extension to Bai Jue and Shang Gu's love under a different identity as Qing Mu and Hou Chi without their past memories.
