Omg. U may know the story line and why he is the way he is. Doesnt mean houchi knows lol. U may understand everything…
From a viewers perspective I understand lol, but doesn't mean I don't understand both perspective here but I will NEVER understand why she chose to stab Bai Jue and not that bitch Wu Huan! Thats all I have to say.....
And yet can u believe there are people who said Xukai cannot act? If u look at BJβs face expression, thatβs…
What Xu Kai can't act? No way! He was top notch in that scene, the way he fear for her safety and want to get her out of that place, how he looked at her when she was losing control and then she stabbed him, yet, he didn't feel the anger or hatred, but he was hurt, yet he didn't blame her but what she said to him totally did double damage and when he cried omg, I CRIED!!! ππ
I am starting to think that it was Bai Jue who use this chance to left the final message for Hou Chi, indirectly…
Yes, this is why right now, I felt Bai Jue is in more pain on his end, he have to bear the pain of hurting her, which also hurts himself and the pain of being misunderstood, not that he care what other thinks, but to be misunderstood by the one woman he loves and is doing this for (although he wanted her to misunderstand so she can stay away from the danger and be protected), but I still feel so sad for Bai Jue now having to endure all this, not to mention Bai Jue being told by Shang Gu as soon as she wakes up that she's glad that 60,000 years ago, she didn't get together with him... that just hurts..
I also can't wait until Shang Gu realize the whole truth. For now, I still think Xu Kai did a great job in expressing his love and pain, and showing me he really didn't want to hurt her but because of what's been set it was inevitable..
Yuan Qi: "How Bai Jue is treating(neglecting) me now, I will treat him like that in the future"
Me: "Well, if only you knew..... that he secretly brought you those weapons, and gave to Tian Qi and asked him to give to you without you knowing it's from your father, Bai Jue"....
This is just too sad man, if only they know the truth now.... sigh....
And did anyone realized that in ep 41, when Hou Chi was awakening her powers, before she stabbed Bai Jue.... Tian Qi call her Shang Gu, but Bai Jue, still calls and refer her as Hou Chi in that moment, like to me this is something subtle to show that he still cares for Hou Chi as Hou Chi despite shes under a different identity at the time (even when we know that Hou Chi is still Shang Gu), but just like how Gu Jun comes to care for Hou Chi as Hou Chi, Bai Jue (through his time as Bo Xuan and then Qing Mu) is the same too.... that kills me when she stabbed him!!! He only wanted her to get away safely on her end, and protected....I am still somewhat bitter at how instead of stabbing Wu Huan she chose to stab Bai Jue instead... π And when Hou Chi asked Bai Jue to divorce her....so they have a clean cut, you can clearly see that Bai Jue didn't want to because he still want to be with her(in marriage, and he cherish their time as Qing Mu and Hou Chi), but in the end that scene just killed me....AGAIN.... ππ HE DIDN'T WANT TO DIVORCE HER, BUT IN THE END IT WAS THE ONLY WAY OMG....
Omg why the f*ck did Shang Gu (Hou Chi) stab Bai Jue?! He wasn't the one who caused Gu Jun to die?! Instead of stabbing Bai Jue, why didn't you stab that bitch Wu Huan?! WTF!!!! πππ its WU HUAN'S fault!!!, omg, my heart hurt for Bai Jue in that scene(well, at least Tian Qi called out his name like he was concerned for him.......).
I am starting to think that it was Bai Jue who use this chance to left the final message for Hou Chi, indirectly as "Qing Mu" instead, because we saw him at that place when Jing Jian was playing Weiqi(Go) as if he was playing with Qing Mu, and when Jing Jian was saying all those things of the time they shared, the way Bai Jue looked at him, in that direction was like he's also remembering the time he was Qing Mu, playinyg Weiqi with him, that look he expresses is a look at an old friend, and he was at the same place where the tablet was made for "Qing Mu" death and then later Hou Chi went to that place where she got Qing Mu's message. I am leaning to the side that it was Bai Jue who left that message for Hou Chi because before he disappeared completely he wasn't expecting to not be able to say goodbye to her, as he already promised her he will wait for her for 100 years. And when he disappeared completely, you can see he wasn't ready to say good bye yet.
I think Bai Jue left that final message as Qing Mu, for her indirectly, so there's some sort of closure for her, them, because he can't do it directly, he did it so she wouldn't feel so hurt for not having a closure to this.
And well, good luck watching the subs for 39 and 40, I am watching this in raws because I can understand that much(glad I could), and that already made me cried so much. The part where Gu Jun came to Bai Jue and they have that talk, I cried πππ It wasn't in Bai Jue's plan to involve her and hurt Hou Chi, that much is revealed in their conversation. He wanted her to stay out of this so she can have a normal life, and how he said to Gu Jun, why he let Qing Mu and Hou Chi relationship get that far, yes, it already showed that he didn't plan for it to happen since he doesn't want to hurt her at all, originally his plan was just to do it silently but now, because Hou Chi and Qing Mu happened, it made it inevitable for him to be cold to her now. Still it killed me because he told Gu Jun to take good care of Hou Chi, since he know what he said have hurted her when they met again π that is why he decided to give a closure to her and Qing Mu and left that message as Qing Mu for her since he remembers the time he is when he's Qing Mu, but because he's back to Bai Jue with complete memories, he is determined to go through it to the end.
Honestly, you can really see that it is also hurting him to do this to her as well, becauase, he remember the time when he was Qing Mu, but now, he can only act like he doesn't remember her so she won't be hurt in the long run when he's gone....
Glad to know that Bai Jue made it clear he have no feelings for that bitch Jing Zhao despite he decide to put on this show of accepting the marriage so Hou Chi can give up on him. I honestly can feel the pain for BOTH of them (Bai Jue, with his complete memories) and Hou Chi.... π
Same here! In ep 41 wedding scene, he is clearly in pain the entire time but have to hold back his emotions so…
This comment deserves a hug. Thank you, thank you! You don't know how happy I feel to see someone who also understand this from Bai Jue's pov, pain. It hurts, and yeah, I feel like just fast forward all their pain for their happy ending in the end T ^ T.
There's no reason to doubt Bai Jue, because we know how much he will sacrifice for Shang Gu / Hou Chi. He loves her just that much. Even in the novel, Tian Qi said at the end, that Bai Jue's love and sacrifice for her is much stronger than he ever imagined.
I feel like all those comments are just "heat of the moment" comments. I think everyone recognizes the intentions…
I am surprised you asked, since I thought a majority would know by now that Bai Jue love for Shang Gu would not have him consummate his marriage with someone (Jing Zhao) that he doesn't even love/care for.
This whole marriage was 'for show only'. It is even revealed that they are not even living in the same room, so, please don't doubt Bai Jue here. I am 100% certain without a doubt, they did NOT consummate their marriage. Tian Qi even questioned Bai Jue, because he knows it is not the first time he is sleeping in a separate room from Jing Zhao. So they are not living in the same room. They are as close to being strangers despite the "married" status to the eyes of everyone...
They may seem married to the eyes of everyone, but even Tian Qi knows that it's not the first time Bai Jue is sleeping in a separate room from Jing Zhao, so it's 100% safe to say they did NOT consummate their marriage, so Bai Jue to me, is still faithful to Shang Gu. I never doubted his love (is there even a reason to doubt his love?).
So personally for me, I don't take Bai Jue is 'officially married' to Jing Zhao, even if they are 'in name only', but they did not go anything further than what two loving couple would do i.e. consummate their marriage on their wedding night.
That's why I don't like him, I always prefer Zhi Yang >>>>>>>>>>>> MuGuang -_-
You don't need to apologize, because I didn't think you were criticizing me, but what you said shows that Zhi Yang is too good to be compared to Mu Guang which I agree. I just replied that way to express my disappointment in Mu Guang's character (lol)
I feel like all those comments are just "heat of the moment" comments. I think everyone recognizes the intentions…
To be honest if you ask me to choose, I rather it's a misunderstanding instead of unfaithfulness when it comes to love side of things, but it will always be satisfying to see Wu Huan finally gone, since I hate her, and I hate Jing Zhao (and the elder son too) :P (Mu Guang can go too, since I don't like him lol)
That's why I don't like him, I always prefer Zhi Yang >>>>>>>>>>>> MuGuang -_-
I wouldn't but I am only comparing it, because Mu Guang is in charge now -___- that's why in comparison, Zhi Yang is 10x better than Mu Guang when he's in charge, always partial about his wife ..... -___-
I feel like all those comments are just "heat of the moment" comments. I think everyone recognizes the intentions…
You know these type of genres, can't live without angst, right, so while it can be done better, but in the end, ultimately, we know what his end goal is, and honestly, I can't really bring myself to say these to him, since I know that it doesn't hurt him any less to see it played out like this, but he's determined, so....... sad really. I still love Bai Jue on my end though...
I actually have similar thoughts as you. You can clearly see his pain in when Shanggu sacrificed herself in front…
I feel like many will always see this in the FL pov, because that's what we are watching on, but at the same time, because Bai Jue keeps everything inside, he is definitely going to be misjudged. At the end of the day, yeah, we can really look at how much he suffered back then, when he saw Shang Gu being sacrificed, yet, he can't do anything to save her, only with the exception he prevented her from sacrificing herself, and now, he's doing all that he could, so that Shang Gu won't have to see him (the way he sees her) sacrifice himself, and that she can be protected from her "destiny" as Chief God... And stay alive in the end.
But if people try to see this from both sides, then it will be much better imo, but too bad a majority of the people(from what I am seeing) is only seeing this from one sides (FL) perspectives. Yes, I feel sorry for Hou Chi and Shang Gu, but at the same time, I can imagine the pain Bai Jue is going through to see her going through all that pain/suffering. This is why I keep saying that (for me) Qing Mu and Hou Chi is an extension to Bai Jue's and Shang Gu's love, because they get to (at least) experience their happy times, even when it's under a different identity, it is still them, but the them without the restraints of their responsibilities, and their past memories.
Falling into your Smile right now is a healing to my heart LOL
Oh well, what am I going to say? I knew that there will be comments saying all this sh*t about Bai Jue. Honestly, for me, while I wish he didn't have to do this all alone and tell Shang Gu (or Hou Chi) about his plans, but unlike a majority of you (who criticize him by not trying to see this from his pov), I will be a minor in here who will try to see this from his pov, because I still believe (without a doubt) this equally hurts him(if not more) than it does on Hou Chi and Shang Gu (Yes, I am already missing Qing Mu also), but when I think about how Bai Jue now, is silently suffering and being misunderstood, I DO feel like jumping into the story and tell him: "Even if the whole world misunderstood you, I won't...." (This is why I said I am not looking forward to the angst LOL. Glad I have Falling into your Smile to watch during this time (lol)
