I mean I've read and LOVE Danmei but to be honest this is the first time I actually watch a BL Drama that is not censored.

I am really loving this and hope this will set an example for the backlog of other Dangai drama, because many of us really hope to see Immortality (2Ha) come to light one day to the international platform.

If you have time , do read the novel. Snakes play a very important role in the story especially our beloved Xiao…
This drama actually makes me want to read the novel. Hope the novel is good!

I started to have this C drama craze since last year, thanks to actors like Zhao Lusi, Wang Xing Yue and Bailu.…
No worries, and yeah it needs to be said to those people who aren't aware what they're in for and hit hard when it happens. I've seen so many people reply in comments saying they like the story and recommend it without mentioning how all these unnecessary and unappealing deaths happened. I for one am not a fan because it was so unappealing to me with how they killed them off like that

So now you're trolling my review 😝😝😝

Each to their own if people can't respect that we have our preferences then I have nothing more to say to those who can't respect and spams others reviews

this review in the beginning about judging I already lost interest 😆 🤣 but hey good for you on your point…
And you're commenting at my review to judge me from your starting sentence?

If you already lost interest then you don't have to read it.

Like I said in my review, I wrote it to express how I feel about the drama overall and I am entitled to expressing how I feel. Not everyone have to like what happened and give this a 10/10 drama we are entitled to express what we don't like.

This is my review so I can start my review like that because I know there are other people who judge others or comments on others for feeling differently..

I grew up with C-drama since 7 and now I'm in my 30. I have watch countless dramas and shows but this is the first…
Your argument is saying and implying that we are not allow to give a constructive criticism. We are in fact allow to and we have the right to express what we dont like, as some things you like and appeals to you may not appeal to us.

We are allow to have the right to express this in a public platform.

You are free to feel your own way and have your preference because this is what makes you different to us.

If you cannot handle others for giving constructive criticism then you should not be in a public platform where others express their feelings on why they feel differently.

You are not expected to understand why we feel that way LOL, because if you don't you don't... just like how we don't understand others for liking certain scenes being written but we respect that since we know that everyone is different in terms of accepting how certain scenes is played out. If you feel that we all should feel the same then you live in a very unrealistic world...

Respect goes both ways... if you make up a post saying what you're saying and especially this: "Yeah right?!!! If you are that smart, go write a script and publish it" <- is very disrespectful already to us and shows how narrow minded you are because you cannot accept people from criticising the script and someone who feel differently! It shows you cannot respect us for having a different opinion and feelings to you. Like I said, if you don't feel this way, then no matter what reason we give for not liking certain scenes will make sense to you because you feel differently. Just because they are not valid reasons to you doesn't mean it is not valid for those for providing those reasons for not liking how the story was handled

At the end of the day, you should learn to respect that we are entitled to feel differently and express it in a way where we give valid points on what we don't like about certain things in the story.

When you write comments like this, then we have the right to defend ourself for why we feel differently. If others dont like how the love cannot overcome the darkness and have the couple from one side kill each other, this is a fair point and understandable why they don't like it. If you feel differently then that's on you. You don't need to agree with us if you don't but learn to respect others feelings in expressing why we dont like the scenes that disappointed us...No story or drama is entirely perfect afterall.

Maybe your intention was not meant to disrespect but it sure sounded that way when we read your comment because it feels like you're indirectly targeting those who feel differently to you for not enjoying those scenes and not giving us the right to feel differently when you word your comment like that

Well you wrote a very big paragraph but what you said is true. The ending is not expected and in chinese drama…
I have a tendency to write long reviews if I have a lot to express.

But for this drama, it's one thing to write a good sad ending(not that I support sad endings), and its another to ruin it with how they handled the plot in the later half to the end. Love in Pavilion is the latter. This is not a sad ending, but a bad one. To me this is the worst ending with all things considered.

im mad bcs they definitely not yet ready for the battle with the demon fox. and why they all ignoring the forewarning…
This is why I don't like it. The writers did questionable things that didn't make sense and makes me so mad since those scenes is so unnecessary and could have definitely been done differently... they didn't because they just give a purpose of a sad ending that doesn't make sense aside from unnecessary deaths in killing off the characters in a very unappealing way. Sad ending is one thing but this is the Bad Ending with all things considered!

It didn't make sense to me and it only reinforces what I hate about having the couple on one side kill the other due to being controlled.

Given with how it shows Zhang Zheng broke free shows it can happen and I just wish that it will showcase they tried to break free in the mist of trying to kill or hurt the one they love. I am just so disappointed and disgusted with how they have Mu Yuan kill of Zhang Zheng and how Yitan killed A-Zhui, I just wish their love was strong enough for each other to overcome the darkness 💔

I am not a fan of those tropes where the couple on one side being controlled to hurt or kill the one they love. And how this was all handled in this one is just done so dirty which I can't justify on my side...

For the ones aired this year

Moonlight Mystique - Conclusive Happy ending for the Main pairing in a fully satisfying way. Hopeful Happy ending for the side characters(no spoilers)

Love of the Divine Tree - Very Happy ending in a conclusive way. The ending reminds me back to the good old days for those happy conclusive ones. This reminds me similarly to LAR(Love and Redemption) ending

how is it ? should i start watching it ?
Fair warning for you if you don't want to see all your beloved characters being killed off in the worst way possible then you should stay away from this drama.

I personally felt this needs to be said for newcomers!

And what pisses me off even more is how they killed of Zhang Zheng

They clearly showed that they have the ability to see the light and good in people. Ironically Zhang Zheng being a black sword master (which focuses more or darkness) managed to got free from this but the others who was always in the light couldnt?

How the writers have them killing each other is the worst way to end it for the pairings we love. Its like their love isn't strong enough to overcome this!!!

I love that Zhang Zheng got freed from the control but I was so annoyed and pissed off in the end how he was killed by the woman he loves and wants to protect... 😭

AND like I said, and clarified above

Not sure what is the point of the discussion since I've watched alot of dramas where the drama changed and diverted from the source material...

But I won't be going into this anymore.

If they followed the original source material than good for those who likes it....but I don't personally and we should be entitled our preference and feeling differently

It is not about not paying attention LOL. It is how the writers handled that part. And we are entitled to feel and interpret how we feel about a certain scene being handled.

Just because we dont like the scene or they provided an explanation doesn't mean we agree with how the writers wrote that part. Understand the difference that we are entitled to see and interpret the plots differently on how we see the scene being handled by the writers LOL.

This is why we feel differently on certain scenes despite we all watch the same thing...

I supposed not liking certain scenes and how we view certain scenes being questionable doesn't equate to watching the show properly to you and we cannot feel and question certain scenes being handled by the writers and we have to agree with the writers to you..?

We are entitled to what we like and don't like about the story in writing perspective... thats why we may all watch the same thing but our likes and dislikes is different.

I think it is questionable because I don't agree or like how it was explained or handled and I wish it was different. You are free to disagree, just like I won't jump into someone comment and say they didn't watch the show properly if they feel differently...

I replied earlier to the early commenter, so I won't be going into this here

I have a different stance to that scene though.

But thanks for explaining even when I wish that scene was done differently
