The wedding ceremony for a concubine is faster than for a wife. They needed to get her away from jin renfeng quickly
Can he not kill JRF off and just rescue Huazhu instead? I mean he have more than enough power and forces/people there with him to do so.
Also, it is not like JRF is a royalty or something that they need to prove him guilty. He was just a disciple that kill his own master and that itself is guilty enough and Huaizhu and that maid can be the witness...
That whole scene makes no sense to me. Its like they spare that bastard JRF because he needs to be kept alive which annoys me even more, and the fact that he was kept alive leads to the later scenes...
I just don't get it, why didn't Hongye kill that bastard JRF when he came and rescue Huai Zhu? And why did he have to marry her as a "concubine"? He can just kill JRF there and then and marry her officially when that time comes.
If he would have killed that bastard JRF at that moment and marry her, its not like anyone is going to question him at all.
It just felt like when Hong Ye found his reasons to live, happiness is taken away from him once again.
This is what I don't like, tragedy for the sake of tragedy that leads to questionable decisions and plots by the writers!
I am so pissed off and annoyed at Zhang Zheng's ending....
Because he wouldn't have died like that if it weren't for Mu Yuan being manipulated and controlled by the Black Fox... I hate these tropes to have the couple from one side kill the other... that's the worst kind of ending for me...
I was totally cheering and praising Zhang Zheng for breaking free of his own inner darkness and then he got given that ending, Urgh WTF. He didn't lost or died because he was weak against the Black Fox (since he was able to break free from the control and manipulation) he died because he was killed by the woman(Mu Yuan) he loves, because he didn't want to attack or kill her and he let his guard down when she put that sword through him and when she pushed it in even further, I don't want to watch it anymore!!!
The remaining episodes is killing off the other characters that we like for no reason and its so lame and makes it bitter. I haven't finished yet but so far it looks like the tragedy of the masked group fate cannot be changed from what I am seeing which makes me hate it even more!! ðŸ˜
And I felt part of their downfall is because of Yitan breaking their barrier....but then he was being controlled, so can't blame him(?!) BUT it doesn't mean I enjoy it because I didn't like it on my end for what happened(not my fav trope when characters I like being controlled and do things that will hurt them in the long run)
I'm finding Qinlan very annoying how she keeps getting in the way between her sister and Hong Ye. I hope when she found out that Hong Ye is this "masked brother in law" (that she have been supporting) will be supporting when that time comes, if not I will be disappointed.
We finally get to see more of Zhang Zheng since DYX character (Zhang Zheng) is interesting to me when I first saw him!
The Beast Arc seems interesting. Hong Ye looks good in white hair.
Got to say that Huai Zhu Shixiong is STUPID for trying to bring that Demon back from the future!!

Part 2 to my earlier comment (since I couldn't edit). -- As a matter of fact her father wouldn't have died if it weren't for her interference (but she didn't know, so that was inevitable to push that plot of hatred along)

Thanks for commenting and as for Feng Lixie, I do get that feeling that she hated Mo Xiao because he was the one who pushed her off the cliff(like you said he didn't mean it), but I also felt that she is also placing the hatred of her father's death onto Mo Xiao entirely because his master is no longer alive, so she have to pin this hatred onto someone(Mo Xiao), and this is what I didn't like because she is blaming Mo Xiao as well for her father's death when Mo Xiao had nothing to do with it, and she know it's not Mo Xiao who killed her father yet because his master is no longer alive she directed that hatred towards Mo Xiao instead. Not just the part about him accidentally pushing her off the cliff.
Happy ending? A lot of misunderstandings or breakup?
Its a Happy Conclusive ending for the Main pairing.
Side characters is a confirmed Hopeful Happy Ending.
For me Moonlight Mystique is a Happy Ending because I got what I want for the main pairing in a satisfying way and there's hope for the side characters as confirmed in the story.
Yes, you are right. A knee-jerk reaction, then sorrow for the loss of his friend - immediately after he had 'killed'…
I knew Mo Xiao would forgive XLY on his end because that is just who he is but I wanted that part to be handled better from XLY side from the writers. I just didn't felt his guilt and regret after he found out the truth that Mo Xiao was innocent. That was what I didn't like and how it was handled. Yeah he apologised to him when he saw Mo Xiao again but I just wish it was done better in terms of 'displaying XLY remorse longer'.
But oh well it is what is is despite I didn't like what I saw or agree with how the writers handled that part on my side.

I love seeing Feng Lixie being the one who tries to bring back that light and happiness in Mo Xiao.
I do love the whole mother and son bonding time though.
Main pairing ending is bittersweet
