it's already popular. the least u can do is stop fearmongering
"If everyone just follows what the producers asked then it'll be okay"

You know how much I want this to be true but sadly some isn't following and this is what irks me.

In the end I will try to not think about it, and pray this drama and the actors will be protected and that fans will stay sensible and this doesn't attract unnecessary attention!!

Honestly, I was hoping the show would run low key for quite a while for its own sake and to protect the actors.…
Same that is what I mean by low-key because to me not being too popular can be a blessing in disguise.

I really don't like when people are being ignorant and doing this despite the production team told them to NOT upload or share this on chinese sites!!

I also got disappointed at the airport scene. Can those fans just calm down they're acting like stalkers which is not cool!

Despite my pessimistic view and being concerned about it, I still hope this drama will be protected to the end and the actors career will not be harmed there!

And there are still people uploading this on Bilibili which I found out recently and this is what I dont like. I actually want them to take down those videos on the chinese sites tbh.

For international sharing, as long as they don't start go posting them on chinese sites then I am okay as long as it doesn't harm this drama and the actors career.

I honestly dont understand why Viki takes a day late to release the episode. It is only 5 episode out on viki…
Yeah I subscribed to Youtube as well because I couldn't wait for it.

The subtitles is definitely off and weird at times for those who understood the language.

I am just glad that I can understand the language without having to rely on English subtitles. But I feel for those who needs to rely on it though since context could be missed due to bad translation

Okay I get the point. I do see those comments alot too and it can really add angst to how we feel about this.

I only made that comment because it was indirectly me saying - can we please don't spread too much popularity to unnecessarily chinese social sites because I honestly don't want this to catch any unnecessary attention.

It is just me adding awareness and not be ignorant about it, yes its popular, but lets just try to keep this to ourselves for now and not spread this everywhere because trust me I have seen comments on facebook posts where some people actually commented in a very homopobic way in that post which really irks me.

I don't want to keep mentioning about the ban too, but I cant help but worry because I get that people like to share and spread this out but for me I find that sometimes it not being too popular can be a good thing, not that I don't think the drama doesn't deserve its popularity.... but at least while its airing, if people can, try to do what we can to protect this drama...

I support this drama to be popular after it finish airing but now, I can't help but worry because this is how I am like when it comes to something I love......

I was just voicing how I feel about that matter.

But if you cannot respect others for simply voicing how they feel about a topic then I have nothing to say to you.

So from what I gathered is you want us to be ignorant about this, then fine, at the end of the day we as fans all want the same thing about hoping this drama being aired two days a week can successfully aired without any issues and not have the popularity attract unnecessary attention!

But since you sounded condescending in your reply then I will end it here.

Title Revenged Love Spoiler
At first when Wu Suo Wei found out that his ex girlfriend kissed Chi Cheng on the cheek, he misunderstood Chi…
You're very welcome. Glad I was able to assist with your questions to clear things up for you.

The reason why Chi Cheng is dating a girl(which just happens to be WSW ex) because he wanted to use her to get back his precious snake that his father had hid from him. That is also the reason why he went back to work in his father's company, not because he wants to but he needs to do what his father have plans for him until he can find a chance to rescue his precious snakes.

One of the condition was his father said that he needs to find a girlfriend, so it just so happens that WSW Ex was offering herself up so he used this opportunity on his side.

Chi Cheng to me is gay, since he loves male and it is revealed that his parents know that because he had dated male (which was his ex) in the past, this is also the reason why his father put that condition in about him getting a girlfriend. Chi Cheng is not interested in woman, not that I can see anyway since he is more attracted towards male, but he is only dating her because he cared about his snakes. Like you can see in those episodes, despite he dates her, but he is more distant with her when compared to WSW which he is more intimate with. It felt like WSW is his lover and his "girlfriend" is the third wheel lol.

As for Chi Cheng sexual orientation, I am basing on what I saw in the drama, not sure about the novel though since I haven't really read it on my end.

Wu Qi Qiong is his real birth name, he changed this to Wu Suo Wei, I can only guess is because he wanted to mark a new beginning for himself and leave behind his past self. This was also the time he said he wants to start his own business as well, so it feels like he wants to become a 'different' person than that of his past where his ex look down on him and left him for that reason. But that is my guess anyways since a clear answer was not revealed why in the drama yet.

But it is not uncommon for chinese to have two names. It is kinda like actors and actress in the entertainment industry they will never use their real name, therefore have a second name registered because they don't want others to find out about their private life since you can find out a lot from someone's real name in China. So this was his way to leave his private life separate from his work life (like he said, he wanted to start a business on his end and earn lots of money).

Am I the only one who don't want this drama to be popular while it's airing?

Since I don't want to attract unnecessary attention due to this popularity.

It can be popular after the drama finish airing at least we know we are safe and have all episodes released.

I am not saying this drama doesn't deserve that popularity because it certainly does but honestly sometimes not being too popular while it is airing can be a blessing in disguise. I just hope fans are sensible and know how to protect this drama from unwanted attention...

Title Revenged Love Spoiler
Could someone kindly explain the meaning behind the line, โ€œYou took revenge on the wrong personโ€? I was under…
At first when Wu Suo Wei found out that his ex girlfriend kissed Chi Cheng on the cheek, he misunderstood Chi Cheng and thought that the reason he failed in 3 of his business's (the sugar figure he sell at the streets, the V-Log, and the delivery driver) was because Chi Cheng was making things difficult for him because his current "girlfriend" dated him(WSW) in the past, so in WSW eyes when he saw and found out his ex and Chi Cheng was together, he misunderstood and formed that conclusion on his end, where Chi Cheng is doing this on purpose, because it was true that it is always coincidently that Chi Cheng was always in the picture that ruined his business plans.

So thats what he and JXS meant when they said that he(WSW) took revenge on the wrong person because when the truth was revealed, they found out that Chi Cheng didn't know that was his ex, and all those encounter are coincidences when he was in the picture that ruined WSW business plans. And the only reason why WSW chase after Chi Cheng was to take revenge on him and his ex. So now he feels guilty because he found out it was a misunderstanding formed on his side and that Chi Cheng was actually innocent.

Chi Cheng Ex as revealed in the episode 6 went overseas because Chi Cheng break ties with him when he(Chi Cheng) found out he(the ex) cheated with his close friend GCY, which is why Chi Cheng and GCY became distant now because Chi Cheng was betrayed by two people he trusted and cared about. One was his lover, the other was his xiongdi(close friend, like a brother).

I think the birthday was Xiao Chu Bao(the green eye snake) from what I understood it, not his ex birthday. On this day, it reminded him back to the time they were together because Xiao Chu Bao(that snake) was a gift from his ex to him. So on this day, he is reminded of that time in their past.
On Revenged Love Jun 25, 2025
It is sad how Guo Cheng Yu and Chi Cheng close friendship went sour due to what happened in the past as revealed.

I like to believe that Guo Cheng Yu cares for Chi Cheng as his xiongdi so if they could rekindle their xiong-di (close friendship) would be nice.

Since I love the friendship between Wu Suo Wei and Jiang Xiao Shuai, so I would like to see that rekindle friendship between Chi Cheng and Guo Cheng Yu as well.

I think that both Wu Suo Wei and Jiang Xiao Shuai is that light for them to rekindle their close friendship when that time comes.

I feel like I like this drama a little too much. Because why can't I wait a day to watch this on viki and why…
I honestly dont understand why Viki takes a day late to release the episode. It is only 5 episode out on viki and ep 6 not out yet.

I even subscribed to viki previously to watch the episodes but I ended up subscribing to YT official channel as well and watched on YT since I couldn't wait.

I know this is like my third time commenting today but I need to let out my theory So as we know in the trailer…
I always saw that scene as before he found out the truth on my end but your thought about it being after he found out is interesting as well.

I guess we will see when we watch that scene.

That scene is a powerful one because he was made to choose between his precious snake and Wu Suo Wei and he ended up choosing Wu Suo Wei which really shows how deep he is in Chi Cheng's heart

I just realized something on my rewatch ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

When Wu Suo Wei took Chi Cheng out for a meal, he introduced Chi Cheng as his "friend" and Chi Cheng didn't seem happy about that reply, his reaction to that felt like he wanted to be "something more". Which the way he reacted to the friend part, made the lady sense there was something going on between them ๐Ÿ˜‚

And I am like: "Chi Cheng ah, being introduced as a friend is at least better than being introduced as his colleague lol", because friend is closer than a colleague ๐Ÿ˜…

Anyways, I just find that scene amusing and hilarious but adorable at the same time, because it really shows how Chi Cheng feels about this whole 'introduction' thing, which highlights that part that to Chi Cheng, when it comes to Wu Suo Wei, he wants to be more than just his friend ๐Ÿ’œ he doesn't say it outright yet those were his feelings but his actions really convey it strongly

Replying to the last two paragraphs since that stood out to me when I read it:How that scene was meant to be portrayed…
I was replying to your last two paragraph of the comment since that stood out to me when I read it.

I even did fixed it up on my side here because my MDL is really slow, so.

I am not saying you cannot express how you feel openly so don't misunderstood me about that because you're entitled to express what you want, however there are those in here who also just am tired of seeing several comments saying the same thing about the gangr*pe part and using that point in judging this drama as a whole, to be honest, I did ignored those previous comments in here because others had replied and I couldn't be bothered, but for some reason yours just stood out to me so I decided I felt like replying to how I personally took that scene on my side.

I didn't write that comment to disrespect others for not having their own opinion in a public forum, but the "you" part when I said that was more directing that in the overall audience if that applies to "you"(them) or not, not "you" as in you specifically if this is not how you feel.

If they want to drop it is their choice. But don't let that ruin your day. At the end of the day sometimes it can be a blessing in disguise when it doesn't attract too much unnecessary attention
