Yeah, I feel sorry for Jing Yuan in the past. The fact that he is so hopelessly and desperately in love with Xing Yue just makes me cry especially when Xing Yue did all that to have him "hate" her 😭😭😭💔💔💔 He didn't want to believe that she was that cruel, even when she injured the source of his origin of power, he still wanted to ask her one last time if in these 100 years of accompanying each other, did she really not have any sincerity towards him, when she said "No", and Jing Yuan reaction to that was 💔💔😭😭

Damn their backstory makes me cry, especially in the whole "dream" that Xing Yue used to trap Jing Yuan in.. Jing Yuan knew about it, yet he even said to her that if this is a dream, he don't want to ever wake up from it... because he's so hopelessly and desperately in love with her that he is okay to be trapped in this dream forever 😭😭😭

His past made me love Jing Yuan a lot. And in episode 38, when he decided to join Xing Yue in the stars, I cried again because he was being selfless, and I know this really hurts him a lot to come accept that Bai Shuo is Bai Shuo in this lifetime, because this means he is acknowledging Xing Yue is no longer in this world.

There's just so much to love about Jing Yuan... I love how despite he knows that Bai Shuo is Bai Shuo and Xing Yue is no longer in this world, he still cared for Bai Shuo enough to ask Fan Yue to protect her well 😭😭 that really have earned him a lot of points.

So I understand people for loving Jing Yuan a bit more because just by those little scenes he appears in, he is definitely really cool and carries that majestic aura! I love Fan Yue a lot too but I also love Jing Yuan a lot to the point my heart hurts for him

Yes it depends on a person's preference but when I go into a drama, I also try to keep an open mind and not have bias goggles on how I want Xx actor pair with xx actress because that will just ruin the overall enjoyment for me if I think that way.

If you cannot see their chemistry like most of us does, I guess that is your loss on this pairing chemistry.

In the end, this just shows a pairing chemistry can be subjective

On the contrary here, I love ARP as Fan Yue, and I couldn't have asked for a better cast than ARP being Fan Yue, because he made me appreciate his acting in this one(with no ref to his other dramas before), and he has an amazing chemistry with Bai Lu in this drama IMO

Nah I haven't seen ARP other dramas. I did watched a few episodes of Blood of youth back then but didn't notice his character back then. But as Fan Yue and Jing Yuan he really stand out for me, so MM is the first drama I noticed him and fell in love with his acting in! 💓💓
