I didn't read the novel, so I was basing my feelings in the drama.

I meant the ending is the done deal is not even in the end did it redeemed this drama for me.

I mean, I can endure the angst as long as the ending is a worthy one(satisfying one), I didn't like how in the end it is all through TTJ sacrifice in the drama and not even once could he hear the "I love you" from LSS. I found it sad that this is something TTJ want to hear from her that it gets manifested into some form of illusion for her to say it because the real LSS wouldn't.

That drama is too tragic and all I felt at the end was TTJ deserves better than what he was given in that ending.

I don't like nor do I support that ending for TTJ.

I want to collect these images on my end and created an album for it.

Then the next video on tiktok shows someone who watched up to ep 3, and said that ARP is not doing it for her...and it is the first time she seen him in a drama before.

When she said in her review saying he's not charismatic (omg, I am on the opposite side of the boat here, because I already found him charismatic since ep 1!)

This is my first time seeing ARP, but I love how he played his character as FY and JY, it made me want to pay attention to his future works. I hope ARP and BL can have another collaboration again as a CP, but I would love to see them in a modern drama.

Well FYI, that comment was made based on my feelings for her role in both dramas respectively 😅, that while I hated her character portrayal as LSS in TTEOTM, I added the point that her character in MM had healed me from my previous trauma.

Never in my post did I ask for anyone who love her character in TTEOTM to agree with me.

We can agree that we have different opinions and preference in terms of what makes a good and healthy story vs a toxic one.

You are free to love TTEOTM and her character and I will respect and won't purposely go and comment on someone's post for stating they love that character since I respect we have different preferences in loving something.

I may not love her character in TTEOTM, but I am thankful for her character in this one since it gave me a different insight that she's a versatile actress that can take on many roles etc.

Happy Ending for the main.

Fu Ling will die, but it was confirmed that at the end, those who died and sacrifice for the greater cause will return one day so that is a hopeful/happy ending for those characters.

Back from the Brink was a life saver for me as it aired after TTEOTM so I was thankful to have gotten into that drama after that horrid experience 😓

Haha I dont agree with "beautifully written" in her character in TTEOTM, but I am not here to start the topic about this, so we can agree to disagree. The reason for my original comment was I am thankful how her character in MM is written in a healthy way which healed my trauma for her character in TTEOTM.

How her character was written as LSS. I gave her chance after chance but in the end I no longer believed in her sincerity anymore. She was really toxic towards TTJ in the drama and that ending was a done deal for me where I absolutely hated it.

I didn't read the novel and I don't plan to, but yeah she really traumatized me in terms of how her character LSS was portrayed as and there was a period of time I cannot watch her onscreen at all.

In the end, my final verdict for TTEOTM is TTJ deserves better than what he gotten at the end...

I can't believe my online friend was waiting for my final verdict for Bai Lu's character in MM 😅😅

I was trying to get him to watch MM and he asked me this question since I did said before I watched this drama that Bai Lu in the end can have two outcomes for me

(1) She will be on my blacklist if she traumatized me again like her character in TTEOTM

Or

(2) She will heal me from the previous trauma in TTEOTM and be open to her future dramas.

Yeah we were both traumatized by LSS in TTEOTM, I can never watch TTEOTM again because of how her character was written

So I am truly thankful that in MM her character had healed me from this trauma because now I am looking forward to seeing her future work and hope(pray) she will collaborate again with Aoi Rui Peng in a modern drama where they can share a lot of passionate and sweet scene like a CP.

I hope my friend will end up loving this beloved pairing Fan Yue and Bai Shuo in MM and become obsess with this drama like me because I need someone to accompany me in this feeling for this beautiful drama and pairing 🤣🤣🤣

The fact that how XY hurted JY again by choosing Mo Li and used his arrow on him 💔 and when he woke up and saw XY, he didn't express his hatred towards her... he loved her so much that even when he knows that she trapped him inside this dream he can still say that if this is a dream, he didn't want to wake up from it because even if this is a "dream and not real" he just wants to be with her in this dreamscape 😭😭😭😭 his love for her runs so deep and their past really made me cry!! But this is why I love them so much!

And yeah to me both JY and XY had reunited in the stars since we saw the two stars join together.

And in my heart, both JY and XY lived on in FY and BS as they are their reincarnated self.

What makes me love JY more is despite he acknowledged and accepted that Xing Yue is no longer in this world, and he accepted that Bai Shuo is Bai Shuo, I still love how he still care for BS in his own way when he told FY to protect her well. What he said then and everything in that scene made me teary and love him more. Jing Yuan is definitely among my fav character in MM as well.

Hahahhaha well that part where FY said that to BS in the Fox Clan, I was shocked to hear him say that but I know he didn't meant it and only said that in the heat of the moment. He regretted it afterwards.

But the thing I love about this pairing is, despite their slight bickering and slight arguments, they understand the other feelings and never truly stayed mad for long and always use the most healthiest way to make up for each other.

I also do see that their past regrets had deeply rooted into them and how they didn't want to repeat that same mistake again because in this life, they avoid misunderstanding and communicate properly and how they go through it together makes me love them more.

And I also have a feeling why BS is so determined to live her life, walk her path the way she wants to and doesn't like it when others decide for her is(rooted deep down how she felt in her past) because in this life, she just wants to be herself(as Bai Shuo), and live her life according to what she wants by following her heart and feelings truly.

I blame Heaven for forbidding XY in having that love.... but honestly without their past tragedy, we wouldn't have the FY and BS that we came to love today.

JY didn't believe XY words at first. He trusted her but this leads to her hurtful words, betrayal and humiliating him.

The one who went so far to have JY misunderstood her was XY.

I just felt that JY feelings was realistically portrayed in that moment. And even when he knows that she damaged the source of his power, he still asked her (because he didn't believe she is like this) if in these 100 years of accompanying each other, did she have even a little sincerity towards him. He asked her then, and she once again hurted him not only through her powers but her words when she said "No" cut through his heart.

Can you blame JY for this? I actually didn't like how she caused this misunderstanding but I get why she did it.

I don't think JY hated XY, he just felt hurt and betrayed on his end. Even when she did all this to him, he still showed me he cares and loved her.

I actually blame Heaven for their tragedy on my end... their past makes me sad but I still end up loving them especially JY love for XY and how XY wanted to protect him.

That scene made me cry and made me love JY better. And I agree was selfless in that scene!

I dont like TTEOTM ending and never will. That drama (TTEOTM) ending have traumarized me and is the worst ending I've seen. I don't care that they got a daughter I rather TTJ didn't got that ending he deserves better.

TTJ character was so sad. He wanted to hear LSS said she loves him to the point he hallucinates but he never get to hear the real her say this to him so.

I recommend ALP because it's one of the best Xianxia but you don't need to watch ALP to understand MM since they changed it completely in the drama.

MM can be regarded as a standalone drama.
