Also, I love that my degree in French Literature is coming in handy! This series is clearly inspired by Les liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos (and/or the American movie version, Cruel Intentions). Ton is clearly the Marquise de Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions), who can't let go of her past lover. Top is the Vicomte de Valmont, the past lover who initially gets caught up in the Marquise de Merteuil's scheme (Ryan Phillipe in Cruel Intentions), Mew is Madame de Tourvel (Reese Witherspoon in Cruel Intentions), who Valmont toys with originally due to his relationship with the Marquise and Nick is Cécile Volanges (Selma Blair in Cruel Intentions).
I'm interested to see if this version stays true to the source material or if/how they change it up.
Super cute, still bromance-y, 5 weeks left for them to resolve issues with Su Yu's mom and Wu Bi's dad and hopefully move things into the romance zone. Gagaoolala keeps saying it's a romance, not a bromance, so hopefully they aren't lying. But, it's still a good series, either way. I'm glad that they got rid of all the kidnapping and dub-con from Addicted.
So like, it felt like there was a whole missing episode between ep 3 part 3/4 and ep 3 part 4/4. I am very confused b/c it seems like the plot of this series is already wrapping up? Like, Zo is realizing he likes Joke, so they are going to either get together in like 2 eps and then just be cute together for the last 5 (my choice) or there is going to have to be a loooooot of unnecessary drama (which is what will probably happen). Dunk and Joong have better chemistry in this ep and seem less stiff, but the plot is just shit.
I thought their personalities were less repellent in this episode. But they are also acting very different from how they acted in ep 1, so I'm confused as to how they changed so quickly...
I thought it was pretty boring. It's better done than Star in My Mind (or whatever Dunk and Joong's half was called) but not very exciting for me. I liked Joong a lot better as Ming in 2 Moons 2. I don't know why they keep giving him these seemingly emotionless asshole characters to play...

I'm loving it so far!
