I am loving these long, lingering glances and the food porn! Yes, it's moving slowly, but it is so calming, almost like watching 李子柒。I love her videos, they are so slow and beautiful and this series gives me the same vibes.
Frustrating: The First Episode was wasted.Actors are very attractiveSets are very attractiveProduction quality…
I agree it was too slow, but I actually really liked the lack of conflict and the calm, peaceful vibe. I am a fan of slice of life shows without any strong conflict. Sometimes I just want to see cute guys fall in love and be happy with noooo conflict, especially relationship drama! I hate relationship drama! Give me something cute, low stress, with no cheating or agonizing, no evil ex, nothing, just cute and sweet!
The pacing in the first episode is kind of slow, but the cinematography is actually really good! The food shots and the outdoor shots were really well done, and with the instrumental music, this show was very calming! Also, I normally think the loooooong looks between the leads are overdone, but in this show it comes off as very sweet. I wasn't expecting this to be very good, but it actually turned out to be worth watching! I'm excited for the next episode!
I mean, why stop at 3??? I ship them all, even So Hee (plus Mr. Seo, I mean, I know he's supposed to be their teacher but they're all in their 20's, the teacher is like 2 years older than Shin Woo in real life, so...)
TK had a point, but it does not mean Da On is a bad person. He has been a people-pleaser all his life, because…
I agree that he is a pitiable character right now, but he did lie to TK, about the bracelet for example. So, we can feel bad for Da On, while still recognizing that he did something to hurt someone else.
I feel like screenwriters need to learn that, in this era of BL, viewers don't need 7 episodes of will they/won't they??? The middle of BLs tend to lose a lot of the good parts because the writers rehash the same point over and over, through pointless misunderstandings and missed opportunities. Those things are real and important, but if they make up like 2/3 of the whole show, it gets really frustrating. After all, BLs are about romantic fantasy. They should cut the will they/won't they down by about 1/3 and use that time to show us the relationship of the couple *after* they get together. Do they fight? Do they make sweet love? Give us some cuteness, cuddling on the couch, etc...
TL;DR
We want some drama, yes, but less of the middle part (will they get together) and more at the end (cute relationship stuff).
bestie, I love Da On too, but give me two good reasons of why you think him and tae should end together 😭😭
Da On is cute, smart, nice, successful, top of his class, well-dressed, helpful, and his biggest flaw is he is too nice to people. He and Tae already have a good friendship that is slowly growing into more, like when Tae told Da On that he could be honest with him after Da On shared his trauma about his absent mother. They are already about 2/3 of the way to being boyfriends, why shouldn't they be together???
Yeah, I don't know what is going on in this series. I liked the beginning because I liked the interactions between all the characters, but it seems like there is no actual plot? Like, are Jin and Bbomb together, are they not together, is the plot about jealousy, is there a mystery, idk??? And I heard that the next episode is the last one, even though it says 12 eps on mydramalist??? Started off interesting, but has gone downhill, fast.
So good! It took the promise from ITSAY and expanded on it. I loved the way Teh and Oh's relationship developed. Technically, this is the best BL series ever. The music, lighting, and editing were superb. This show has set a new bar for the BL world. No need for more seasons, it's already perfect!
I agree that lead is looking too old for a university student. XD
Well, he could be a non-traditional student. There are lots of people in the US at least who go to college in their late 20's, 30's or 40's. I don't know if that happens much in Thailand, though. Also, I would expect there to be some kind of explanation for it.
So, the two main leads are fine af and the story is interesting. The production is not good, but so far, I have been able to overlook that, because the rest is good.
TL;DR
We want some drama, yes, but less of the middle part (will they get together) and more at the end (cute relationship stuff).
