When aey was trying to kiss gene why didn't gene move away ?
I think we are supposed to believe that Gene gets really overwhelmed really easily and doesn't know how to respond, so he froze up. That was what I thought.
Yeah it's probably for the first time ever that I have heard the word gay being used in a BL series. Not even…
They use it in Tale of a Thousand Stars as well, but that was only like 2 months ago. I agree, it is a little shocking. Usually they stick with, "love has no gender, I don't like guys, just you" bullshit. So I loved hearing him say he was gay as well.
Where are they getting all of this money??? Is Aki Torres from a rich family that is bankrolling all of this??? The acting is soooo bad, but the sets are soooo opulent. That being said, I love the shade and the drama. This one is kind of like My Day: so bad it's almost good! It's over the top and silly and Mr. Man is fine af, so I'm going to keep up with this one. I love to talk shit about these shows and this one has a lot to talk shit about.
I mean, this is giving me student film vibes, but it's fun so far. I like seeing Lee Se Jin in a dress. Androgyny is hot. Hopefully it doesn't end up as queerbaiting. I don't know what things were like in Korea back in the day but considering how tough it is for LGBTQ+ folks in Korea today, I can't imagine they were cool with two dudes being married back then.
I couldn't agree more! I rewatched the scene so many times seriously for the reactions and emotions. The second…
I know! Like, you could see that Sky kind of got closer slowly, and then rushed in to kiss Paper and at first, Paper kissed him back, but the you could see that Paper got kind of stiff and uncomfortable and when Sky pulled back, you could see that Sky couldn't look Paper in the eye. It was soooo well done. I wish the rest of the acting and pacing was as good. And the time skips are confusing. Hopefully, they work that out because these two are super cute and I really want to stick with this to see them end up together.
Chap is fine af, but the plot of the first two episodes made zero sense. Why don't they just hire some of the better fanfic writers from wattpad or ao3 to write these??? They would end up with better plots.
I'm definitely tired of the college setting, but this first episode was pretty well done. Pi is kind of annoying honestly. I get that he is closed off and guarded because he was treated badly, but his personality is kind of mediocre. I thought it was funny that he thought people wouldn't like him because of how he looks. He needs a new personality, imo haha. Still, I like the chemistry with Mork, so I'm going to keep watching.
It was fine. Kind of like a short film. A quick snapshot of a story. I will say that those two men get right up in each other's personal space a lot and it's kind of hot. Definitely not a great start but I was entertained and that is good enough.
Probably...and to our great benefit, the writer made a great decision. This show rocks.
In my experience, people who defend rape like that commenter have either done it themselves and so of course they would say it isn't rape, or it happened to them and they don't want to accept that it happened to them so they won't call it rape. Or they are just bad people. *shrug*
GMMTV's best yet! this is the first BL series I have watched from them that I felt completely satisfied with. I feel like, with this series, GMM TV has reached the point where they are going to treat the BL series on the same level as the straight ones. <3
