I just want to take a moment and reflect: we have now reached a point in BLs where people have time to complain that, "the sound effects are annoying." :-) :-) :-). Ah, kids these days, so spoiled for choice. Hahah.

I mean, I still pay for Viki and I watched it. I'm not sure what more support I can give than that. :-). Also, you said a whole country went bananas... Is that something that happened in Korea? I'm not sure what you mean on that one. Did something happen?

Boring so far. All of these Korean BLs on Viki have been a lot of production and very little substance. I feel like they are just too short to do what they want to do. If they could make them about twice as long maybe I would have time to care.

I know! Actually, even though I love Tony Labrusca as well, that one scene after the tug of war mess, JC's acting was so much stronger, you could really see the contrast. Tony looked a little bit upset. JC looked destroyed. It was powerful.

It was so good! Definitely exceeded my expectations!

Dang, JC Alcantara has some acting chops. That was good!

Ok, don't tell me. I rented it haha, so I will see in about 2 hours how it all turns out.

Haha, ok, just spoil it, that way I know if I should pay to watch it or wait until it's free. Do they end up together or do they just end up as friends?

So, no shade to Thai BLs, because I have watched them all and enjoyed them, but most of them feel like student productions, with mediocre supporting actors. poor plotting, sound and lighting issues, and low budgets. We love and support the shows anyway of course, because we love to watch and see cute guys fall in love. But this drama actually feels like a real television show. I guess after the success of 2gether, GMMTV has realized they can actually make some money if they invest some real money into a quality production. For example, the parents in this drama are actually good actors, Tian's mom in particular. There was a large variety of sets, aerial shots. Even the intro was cute and looked like real thought had been put into it. I am really impressed. Between this show and KinnPorsche (or at least, based on the trailer), it seems like BLs are getting more respect and more investment and I am 100% here for it. I hope the writing stays strong through to the end. This was a great first episode!

I already have a feeling this is going to be one big queerbaiting. I will be happily surprised if I am wrong. But I feel like they will just end up being friends in the end.

I have no idea what happened in this show. It seemed like they made about 4 episodes and then realized they were going to run out of time, so they tried to squeeze about 10 more episodes into the last 4, and it turned in a one long montage without any time to experience what was happening.

I think they should have just made this a 5-6 minute long music video. The song at the end was the best part.

I liked that it was short and they didn't pad out the length by inventing ridiculous and clichéd drama. The two leads were cute and I liked that they were both super into each other, no crying over being into guys, the friends were fun and Key's ex-girlfriend is absolutely beautiful. The song at the end of the finale was good, I already found a new Filipino musical artist to listen to. I thought the voice overs at the end were a little long, but I get that they needed to give the show a "moral" which I guess was, don't let coronavirus get you down? Hopefully, this studio makes more series, I would def. watch.

You know, the songs are not bad! I grew up with 90s boybands, and the songs from this series could fit right in! Danny and Aiden are cute, I enjoyed it!

well, as a person in a sexual minority, I guess it's nice to know that, based on your definition of constructive criticism, my opinion doesn't matter. Anyway, I think we can leave it there. Good luck.

From Lintz: t hat's just disgusting. PLEASE, give us shows with actual, realistic queer representation where not everyone is gay and/ or homophobic. I'm so tired of these plots. I am so glad that there have been some Pinoy web series this year that have legit queer representation and they battle real problems us queer people face.

But I do wish they would stop calling those of us who like it, names. In its own way - that too is prejudicial, expecting everyone to think the same and if we don’t - calling us names.
