This was one of the most enjoyable binge watches I've had in a long time! The chaotic friendship group I wished I had haha. So much laughter, and yet surprisingly amount of heart and stories in this one. Counting down to the next season!
A slightly rushed ending! Wish they'd extended the run-time or with an additional episode because it would've been nice to actually see what happened to some characters. (But I accept what was implied lol)
I very much enjoyed this series (I started with zero expectations) I liked how at the heart of it, was stories about a bunch of people and how they were dealing with a pandemic (Hits a bit too close to home, given the state our world is in currently!)
Some of the situations, no matter how far-fetched it became, was a poignant observation on how humans behave in such a stressful and anxious situation. There was hope and humanity inserted here and there but not overtly in a preachy way.
I do love an intense apocalyptic action flick every now and then. And I think there is a place for more nuanced shows like this that reflects on humanity and what happens when we fight the ugly sides in ourselves!
I think VIKI have just got the licensing for this!
Maybe something will work out later! Some dramas get licensed later for different regions. Also just seen it’s a ‘VIKI Original’ and they tend to be good in showing it in most places on VIKI. Hoping for the best for you!
This is one of the more consistently written time travel shows out there. Minor mis-characterisations and slower pacing towards the end, pretty engaging start to finish and praise SSR for carrying this show!
I liked how it kept me guessing and instead of insulting my intelligence with a shock twist for cheap thrills, it kept its logic and throughly rewards the audience for the detective work. Very well done overall.
This was a grim dystopian series and conceptually explored religious fanaticism, cults and morality Some of the themes portrayed are close to what we’ve seen or experienced in society and it was horrifying to watch in a really layered and emotive sense. The issue I have is that it’s an overwhelming amount to unpack and I’m left feeling uncertain about the message. Can we trust the glimmer of hope we eventually see? Or maybe that’s the point that we’ll never really know…

Enjoy watching it :)
