The fact that FengLai (SL's father) is the seal to the whole Abyss is so undermention in this drama that I feel its so unfair for him. The poor guy sacrifice himself for the world and Liuyu. At the end again for his only daughter, will remain trap in there for all eternity yet people don't know about it.
He will start filming a xianxia drama with Bai Lu in April.
Nice. Although I'm not a fan of Bai Lu, this pairing is unusual, so it would probably be refreshing. I look forward to see how well they fit in term of chemistry
Here I was waiting for Shen Li to die and then pull the "Pheonix rises from the ashes" move on us... maybe next episode they will show more after she burned
I've been missing Joseph's face in ancient dramas lately, hope more of his dramas come out soon.
Last I saw of him was as a guest star at the end of My Journey to You, which was such a tease because he look so good in that role. I wouldn't mind a sequel with him in it.
This drama has so much heartaches, yet so courageous, so warm and tenderhearted in every aspect. It present so much human love that at the end of the day, it give me so much feels. It may be sad but I don't regret watching it. Its truly a beautiful drama and teaches us how precious life is. 10/10
Just started watching this drama, hopefully I get in to it. What I find hard to go thru in the 1st episode are…
When DongEun came back to see them one last time after she dropped out I was hoping she would stab the shit out of YeonJin eye, or disfigure the bitch face or smthing lol
Just started watching this drama, hopefully I get in to it. What I find hard to go thru in the 1st episode are the severe bullying and abuse. Never imagine that spoiled teenage kids can do something like this to another child in today society and get away with it with no remorse. Dongeun whole body was burned by iron and the adults just ignored it and covered it up. Not to mention that fking teacher literally hit her over and over again in front of everyone? Wow made me so disgusted and my blood boil! All of them better be destroyed or suffer a horrible death by the conclusion of this series or I would be so annoyed!
For people who are still feeling blues, the actress who played Tian He's mother is currently starring in a short drama called Broken the Heart. Its worth checking out.
The plot seem casual thus far but OMG I am getting serious Lin Bu Yi vibe again from Leo in this drama. Make me want to rewatch LLTG. His hot eye gazes are irresistible! >.<
Gonna be honest, CP4 tugs at my heartstring more than CP6 ever did. I literally get teary at every sad scenes in CP4, whether its between XianXiao and his shi mei/shi di (TH parents), SuYao and her shi mei, SuShen, to TianHe and his mother/father, LingSha and her sister, ZiYing and MengLi. This drama is full of relatable interhuman relationships and you get to see it from everyone perspective on how they deal with the core issue as each one have their own motivation and isn't completely evil. Which I think is the most important aspect of Chinese Paladin series aside from the journey to save the world or the romance.
For some reason I just can't get invested into CP6 at all. If both shows airing at the same time was intended as some sort of a competition, CP4 takes the win for me.
I don't know why but I'm sure she is not dead 😂😂
Just a guess too, but maybe Ji Chu arranged men to rescue Wan Er and stage it as if she was killed. Thats why in Ep 30, he told Qing Ge, "Don't do anything, Leave everything to me"
