Yes! When I say XianXia, I was thinking of them being a mature couple like this one. Something with refreshing plot with normal, reasonable human interaction and intellects (very rare in dramaland)

I don't mind them being in a modern drama either but I think with LYN's face irl (without the ancient hair and thick clothings) he would have to play a younger guy role while LSS will play an older working female role. I'm kinda tired of such drama...

I prefer them on equal footings and fighting alongside each other.

I'm all for LYN and LSS reuniting in another drama (xianxia maybe). I think they one of the best drama couple of the year.

I find 2nd FL, Ling Jing Yue prettier than the FL. FL's face a little unnatural (maybe its the make-up?) and her expression a little stiff...

Theres no shortage of such dramas this year (i.e. Starry Love, My Journey to you)

When watching chinese wuxia or xianxia dramas often enough, I guess you get used to endings not meeting your expectation or where writer vaguely left it up to our imaginations. Thus I learn to enjoy the journey more, and such ending is disappointing but doesnt hit me as hard nor take away from how good the overall drama is. Regardless its still a 10 in my book

Did YZ and RY really have no time at all to consummate their marriage? I was waiting the whole drama for their bedscene lol tho guess it won't happen since LSS is married irl

I find it odd that Chu Yue the one that imagine the happy ending and not A Ying given she has the closer bonds to our heroes that died

Its a 10 star drama for me too. The most important aspect of this drama was the journey itself but somehow I am still left feeling bitter at the end...

Director and cameramen really have weird logic. RY and YZ stand in front of a cave so why would there be light shining out behind them when they kiss? Not to mention it is nighttime...

That scene at the end of episode 21 seem off. Why do I sense they might've cut a more intimate scene in that sequence?

Regret I watch this early. At Ep 5, I'm officially hook. Love how proactive and badass Ru Yi is. lol

This is one of those rare romance drama that doesn't have any kiss scene at all. I have almost no hope for that for the last 2 episodes. Although don't get me wrong, its still a good drama with great casts.

Then it doesn't make sense to me that her brother had to die even in her dream, along with all the other emotional ups and down. Thats why I would be so upset. We getting troll hard lol give me back all my tears! XD

Agreed. Hes too prideful, that even if he had fallen for HQ, he would just keep denying it. He treated MY the same way before HQ reveal the truth to him. The most annoying type of character that its almost superficial.

Somewhat satisfied that Wu Lian got his just deserved. Though, even with Wu Lian's backstory, I still don't understand what made him become the rapist and shameless man that he is, hurting so many innocent women? Anyone care to elaborate more on that, please?

For Ep 16, its awesome to have the gang scare WL shitless like that (love his spooked face), but I worry they might be revealing their hand too early and WL will take preventative measures to set them up. Hope everyone stays safe to the end...

Wu Lian did a good job disgusting me with all the girls he lied to, sleep with and killed. What a slimey character. Enemy of all women and underage girls. 🤬😠

I gotta say, Ep. 23 the scene revealing his brother as the mastermind, with the luminescent hands when the light comes on and the camera pans out on GZY and everyone in the Gong family - it look pretty fantastic! Like the Avengers coming together lol This is one of the best WuXia of the year in terms of fighting and great camera work.

OMFG Please tell me there is a season 2! And I hope they don't replace any of the actors/actresses!
